Saying I had a perfect service is an understatement

I booked to see Dr Staiano at the Staiano Clinic in Birmingham, UK in early January 2021. I ended up seeing him several days later. I've had a skin coloured mole on the right side of my chin since the age of 13-15 to the present day. It was an annoyance since I occasionally cut it whilst shaving. It was roughly the size of half a pea and I had been looking at ways of having it removed for some time. My preference was for the the mole to be removed by a radio wave technique.

My main concern was for the mole to be removed perfectly with no raised or depressed area after its removal. Dr Staiano advised me that whatever technique is used they are all reliant on some form of energy, whether electrical or the pressure from a surgeons hand using a scalpel. He made it clear that, as with all procedures, in some cases corrective surgery may be required. I trusted him completely and gave him the go-ahead. 15 mins later the mole had been removed. I was advised of the required after care and followed this diligently.

I was amazed at the rate my skin recovered for a 57 year old and within 4 weeks there was hardly any sign of any surgery and after 2 months I could see no mark at all where the mole was removed. 11 months on I remain thankful that we have easy access to such talented doctors in the UK. All I can say is that end result for me was absolutely perfect. I have appended 2 photos, one showing the incision made several days after the surgery and one 6 weeks afterwards. F.
