A Nightmare!

Horrific! I had MOH's surgery on eyelid 9/22/2025. He was scheduled by the facility that did the MOH's to close the defect. Yes, I have filed a complaint at that facility. Even tho I complained continually during the procedure that my eyeballs were " killing me" he failed to take any corrective or protective action. He did not protect my corneas, which he has admitted to, and caused me to have severe corneal abrasions. I am in constant pain and have lost most of my vision. I am under the care of several talented opthomologists who are doing everything in their power to help me with my constant eye pain and loss of vision. I am currently undergoing stem cell therapy for my eyes, I have had amniotic sacs placed over my corneas, bandage contact lens, and Scleral lenses made to cover my corneas that cost $1500. I am scheduled for surgery by an experienced oculoplastic surgeon who is hoping to repair the damage and may help to eventually restore my vision. But I have been told there are no guarantees. I have also had to have my eyelids sewn shut. Please think twice before you see this man and have him operate on you. I wouldn't give him a single star but this site made me in order to post. I am a RN who can no longer see to drive or work. I can only go outside to go to MD appointments because the sun hurts my eyes so bad. Before this surgery I led a very active lifestyle, going to the gym 4-5 times a week. I am the editor of my church monthly newsletter but obviously haven't been able to do since this surgery. I feel my life has been ruined. Then, he had the audacity to tell me that his office manager and practice owner wanted me to schedule an appointment to come in to see them. I hope to see him in Richmond when he will be trying to defend his license.
