I am a mom of 2 kids. Nursed both, one for 13 months the other for 19 months! I have always been small, and have wanted BA since I could remember. When they measured me I am a 28AA...That size doesn't even exist!!!! So I wear a 32AA and don't even fill that in at all. Things are just deflated and not where I want them. I am very self conscious at the moment and want to be able to feel good about myself again. Even though I was small before I was still a 32B and at least they were perky, now I am worse off.
Anyways, my husband has been super supportive and my parents too. I saw one dr and I just didn't like the experience. He didn't even measure me and basically told me I will see what implants will fit the day of surgery and that was it! How is someone supposed to go to surgery and pay all that money and not know what the outcome will be??? I saw Dr. Enevoldsen the next day and absolutely knew I wanted him to do my BA. His office and staff is fabulous and made me feel so comfortable. They took all the time I needed and answered all my questions. I had the 3D imaging done. My rib cage isn't even and sticks out more in one side, so dr said implants will have to be different sizes on each side. As of right now we are considering 440cc on one side and 375cc on other side. On the 3D thing it looks even and full. He recommended textured because I am so small and he is concerned that eventually the smooth will move a bit to the sides. Any thoughts on that ladies??? Ok this is super long so will update as time gets closer. I am super excited!!!

I went back to my PS last Friday and this time I took my husband. He explained what his thoughts were for the whole procedure and what his recommendations were. He explained I have a small frame and not a lot of tissue so for this reason he thinks it would be better to go with the textured implant. He also thinks this will reduce the risk of rippling since they are firmer. My husband agreed and now I am definitely excited and confident about my decision.
Anyone have any ideas on how to prep for before and after the surgery? I am getting a list from my PS but want to hear it straight from the ladies who have been there done that....
Also, any creams or ointments you recommend for the scar??? Sports bra types???

2 More days!!! OMG super excited and nervous!!!!

My surgery is on Thursday and I cant help but to be a bit nervous. I have to check in at 8:30am and surgery is an hour later. I have cleaned my house as much as I can and have tried to prep my husband as well, but we will see how it goes. I am a control freak and a germ-a-phoebe so I usually do everything around the house and for the kids. I had both my preops and filled all my prescriptions so now I just have to be patient. Any last minute advise on things to do before hand or stuff to prep for???
Oh you are so wise to have gotten the second consult. Good for you! Will your family be able to help you with your children the first few days of your recovery? Keep us posted as you continue your research!
