2 Weeks Post-op

Not a whole lot is new. Had my 2 week appointment, the indent in the bottom of my left breast is still there but should resolve on it's own over time... still, it's driving me bananas! Don't have to wear the compression band 24/7 anymore, just have to wear it at night for the next to weeks then never again!!! I'm pretty much back to 85% of my normal self. Just waiting for them to soften up, the dent to go away, and the incisions to heal. I feel like my incisions are healing very slowly, my right one is still raised and very hard, but once they're no longer scabby I can wear a silicone scar sheet on them. The brand that I was recommended (and bought) is Mepiform. Basically you cut the sheet to size, apply the adhesive onto the dried incisions, and then leave it on until it falls off itself (within a week). Once I'm ready to use them it was suggested I keep using them for a few months.
Size-wise I'm very happy, way better than my natural breast size, and much better than the 275cc I had. I have a lot more cleavage now, and the gap b/w my breasts is a lot smaller.... I've always naturally had a wide gap so I wasn't expecting to have a super tiny gap post-457cc. It's about 1.5 fingers width apart now, and with the 275cc it was probably 3-4 fingers. Sometimes I think I could have gone one size up, then I try on my old bikini top and think that what I have now is plenty. Luckily my boob greed is very fleeting, and will probably go away completely once I can start wearing bras.
Anyway, here are my 2 week post-op pics at varying angles. They look kinda large close up, but as you can see in the full body pics they're really not that big.

1 Week Post-op

Can't believe it's already been a week, time seems to fly, even if you're stuck at home all day taking it easy. I had my stitches taken out yesterday and had a legitimate shower for the first time in a week, it felt amazing!! I can start massaging my breasts and am allowed to sleep on my side now, but I find that it's a bit uncomfortable since any little movement pulls on my incisions which are still tender. I think my incisions are healing relatively well, moreso my right one... the left one worries me a bit. It seems like the sutures on the left side were made tight (perhaps the internal ones) which is causing an indent in the bottom of the left implant as it drops. I'm hoping this will go away as my skin and tissue stretch out some. I'll give it time, and if the indent's still there in a week I'll bring it up at my next appointment (June 3). Anyway, here are some new pics. With respect to the bikini picture, it's a pretty close up angle so my breasts look slightly larger in the picture than they do in person.

Day 4 post-op

Not a whole lot knew to talk about. Had the drainage tubes taken out on day 2, not fun, but feel so much better with them out. My current post-op instructions are pretty simple: take it easy, wear the band above my breasts all day, and don't get my stitches wet (meaning good luck trying to wash my hair and upper body). Luckily I go in again to get the stitches out this coming Tuesday, sooooo looking forward to a legitimate shower!

Pain-wise I've been feeling pretty good, my pain level hasn't gone above a 4/10, I find that my back hurts more than my front due to sitting and hunching all day. Yesterday was probably the worst day so far (Day 3... counting surgery day as Day 1). I felt so good Days 1 and 2 that I probably did more than I should have and ended up feeling it Day 3. Mostly I was just very tired, my incisions were a bit irritated, and I had a large headache all day (I'm assuming because the sore/stiff muscles in my upper back and neck were creating a tension headache). Today though was a complete 180, feeling the best I've felt since surgery.

I've gotten a chance to take a better look at the girls and I'm really pleased. I don't think I have much swelling, and they're not sitting too high up on my chest but still have to drop some and soften up a lot. Haven't gotten to see my incisions yet since they have to remain covered until I get the stitches out, but they feel fine, a bit itchy. Anyway, here are some pics from Days 2 and 4... as well as one pic when I had the 275cc implants in (for comparison sake). Alrighty, well chances are I'll update again after I get my stitches out.
