WORTH IT
I have one more month left at 60mg and then I’m done woohoo!!! Don’t have anymore active acne just scarring now which me and my derm will talk about in 6 months! Can’t believe the difference this medication has done!!!! I have extremely EXTREMELY dry lips and skin, also have pretty bad back pain. If I’m in the sun too long it literally feels like my skin is burning but I would do all of this all over again for these results! Will post an update on my back soon!!

Hi I just finished my acutane course and my experience with the acutane was very good but I have very uneven skin tone are fo facing the same problem or not ?
I’m not finished yet but my derm said after a few months the pigmentation should die down! If not go and see your derm :)
Wow congratulations on yr results. Im starting accutane tomorrow. I need it for my back and chest. Im just woundering if it cleared up your back and chest and did u experience more break outs in these areas while on Accutane.
Omg it cleared my back amazing you can barely tell that I even had acne there before! It did fire up a bit at first but it got bette after the 4 month :)

My 17 year old is on week 4 with no difference just worst cystic acne not sure what to do. 40 mg a day and sees Deem in Tues. Your face looks better from day 1 to week 4. How are you doing now?
Hows your skin now? I am on 40 mg and completed one month and my acne is way more worse. Did you see improvement. BTW I am also in Mississauaga :)
Sorry I just saw this now! The first month and a half it gets worse! Remember it gets worse before it gets better!!!

Update

Haven’t really been experiencing much side effects other than extreme dry lips and extremely dry skin. Getting pretty impatient about not having any results yet.

Sounds like u started acutane at the same time my 17 yr old daughter did. I’d say she’s had similar results. She’s on 20 mgs. She had been on a low dose of antibiotic and her face was pretty clear but derm wouldn’t continue to prescribe. Hopefully on the upswing. Good luck!!
