Botched or nah?

In Dec. 2017 I had surgery with the infamous Dr. Lipo. I did full lipo around my waist / stomach & bra line with transfer to the hips. (I was quoted $6,000. Plus the cost of massages which is $800 plus a few rounds of cavitation & radio frequency $500. ) The next day I could tell something was wrong ! My right hip looked bigger than my left. So of course after a day out of surgery they say your body is swollen blah blah blah blah.. lol This wasn’t my first rodeo so I knew how I was suppose to look. I have to give him credit with the lipo . He snatched my waist but now the transfer is a totally different story. At the 3 month mark I went to him for a follow up . I explained to him that my left hip had an area where there was no fat transferred in comparison to the other side that he did perfectly . You could also tell where the transfer stopped (hip to leg ratio) . You know when Cardi B says, “ shorty says its all hers why her thighs don’t match.” Well let’s just say I could relate to that lyric. Lol So instead of looking at it and saying wow , yes I do see where there’s an area that is uneven & needs to be smooth out, he begins to tell me that I have scoliosis & therefore that’s why it looks like the fat isn’t even. (Side note: I have never ever been diagnosed with scoliosis. I just received an MRI of my back July 2017 & it showed no such diagnosis) so I’m like what?? So after questioning him & showing him the area then he changed his story . So he agrees to do the touch up but he would have to get fat out of my arms because my other areas didn’t have enough fat for a transfer & that I needed to pay for that (another $1,000) . Even though I felt like it should of been free since this was his mistake but I didn’t even complain , I just wanted the job done right . So my touch up surgery was scheduled for Mid August. Before the surgery I showed him pictures . I also told him the areas of my hips that I needed him to fix . My left hip was the one with more problems than my right .

So surgery is done I go home . I was really scared to look in the mirror the first day . So the next day I take off my girdle & I looked like an episode of botch . My right hip (that was the good one) was so much more bigger than my left. My left hip was smoothed out a little to remove the obvious separation of where the transfer ended but still left a lump & is noticeably smaller than my right. Remember the area where fat wasn’t deposited during the first lipo , well guess what ?? It still was left the same way. And he transferred a tiny bit of fat in an area that really didn’t need it. I literally cried for hours! So 2 days later I demand an appt with him cuz I needed to understand what he did .

First thing he says is “I heard you were crying what is the problem.” So I said yes I was crying I need you to explain to me what u did. So guess what he says again? Yes girl, he tried it again!! He brings up the scoliosis again! At this point I’m so mentally & physically drained . I just looked at him like really? Again with this scoliosis. I said to him even if my whole body had a shift to it that still doesn’t explain why this area isn’t even . He then said , “ you ran out of fat.” So I say why did u put so much fat in my right hip ? Instead of just fixing the hip that was messed up. I’m not a doctor nor am I in the medical field but wouldn’t that make more sense? All he could say was there was no more fat and that there are other things in the world that are worst than this. I was just so shock at his response I was just speechless. I couldn’t even snap back or get angry .

Imagine going thru another lipo procedure to get fixed and it’s not even done properly ! The arm lipo I had to do to harvest the fat for the transfer is thee worst pain ever! Worst than full body lipo ! I’m 1 month post op and I’m still in pain . I’m still doing massages but it’s still a long healing process & im walking around here with one hip that’s on fleek & the other one is botched! I will not be going back to him not even for a follow up!

The good thing is that it’s not that noticeable in jeans but I can totally forget about wearing a bathing suit or any material that is clingy on the skin because it shows a lot more . Thanks Dr. Lipo .

My total cost with Dr. lipo is gonna be over $9,000 . That’s lipo including the “touch up” ($1000) massages & cavitation, medication . And I’m still not done doing massages for my arms. The moral of this story is , don’t believe everything u see online. I researched him before doing my surgery , I stalked his IG page on a daily ! I was such a big fan ! Now look at me! I’m botched & still have to pay another doctor to fix me. I will not be returning to Dr. lipo . Totally disappointed on how he handled my situation .
