Pain after a liposuction procedure is common and regardless the type of liposuction method that was performed on you,  you will always have some degree of pain. Of course certain devices help the skin to heal faster, which means patients will feel less pain and discomfort . When you start to feel that burning sensation, It is most likely to be your nerves that are healing. My advice is to continue using the compression garment, because the compression is what is going to help relieve the discomfort from the inflammation. 

Slim lipo is a technology that uses laser to melt the fat, S.L.I.M stands for selective laser induced melting. While slim lipo melts the fat in the area targeted, it also helps tighten the skin. When comparing slim lipo with traditional liposuction you will obviously get better results with traditional liposuction, but at the end the final result always depends on the patient's skin, the use of the compression garment after the surgery, and post-operative massages. If you compare slim lipo with traditional liposuction, you will definitely get better results with traditional liposuction. But if you are looking for a method that will help you lose weight while at the same time help your skin retract, than slim lipo would be the best option. 

We advise all our patients to wear their compression garments for at least four to six months with high pressure. Better results are given if it is worn 24 hours a day for the first month. After the first month patient can remove their garment at night. 

That is a very good question. This can vary from one person to another. If your lips are very thin, you might need more than one syringe. If your lips are mid sized or fuller you might even need less than one. The best thing to do is to get evaluated in person. In my experience usually patients need about one to two syringes to add more volume to the lips. 

We usually recommend lymphatic massages or post surgical massages to all our patients. Massages have to be given three times a week, every week for at least a month. It is very normal to have swelling and inflammation at the beginning, this can last up to four to six months. The best advice I can give you is to show up in person at your doctors clinic and follow up with him/her. He/she will let you know if the swelling is normal or if you are going to need additional treatment. 

There are many options to choose from when it comes to liposuction. You have smart lipo, vaser lipo, radio frequency liposuction, water assisted lipo, and the list goes on. What patients need to understand is that the result from liposuction is not due to the device that is used to melt or remove the fat. Results are obtained depending on the technique and experience of the doctor. All those are instruments that help to facilitate remove the fat but at the end, it is the hands of the surgeon that makes the difference in the liposuction result. 

Different doctors evaluate the areas for liposuction in different ways. In our practice we consider the liposuction per areas. For example in average, the abdomen is four areas, the back is six areas, the waist is two areas, the arms are two areas and it goes on. In general the price in our practice is more per areas than per the amount of fat that is removed. In the state of Florida we have a restriction where we can only remove four liters of fat. 

When it comes to fine lines under the eyes, the best method to use is the laser. The laser that would work best for you is the Fractional Laser. This type of laser stimulates the collagen production under your skin, In our clinic we recommend getting between 3 to 5 treatments. Botox will not help under the eyes, because it is used for other areas in the face such as crows feet lines and Fillers are only helpful if you have loss of volume. The Fractional Laser fits your situation perfectly. 

Usually the swelling after fillers can last up to three days. Placing ice on the area will help a lot with the inflammation. If the swelling is really bad and is not getting any better, you can try medrol dosepak also known as  methylprednisolone, a steroid that in  a lot of cases helps speed up the healing process. You should obtain a consultation with your doctor so he/she can give you the prescription for this strong anti-inflammatory medication.
