Thank you. I called in May in hopes of being able to do my surgery during the summer but they told me he had no opening for consultation until 2016. I kept calling and calling until someone canceled their appointment in October and then we scheduled the surgery for 2 months after that which was last month. Just keep trying. He is worth it in my opinion.

Oh! Sorry, I was looking at so many revisions I got mixed up. :) extra congrats then, you don't have to worry about revision! May I ask how much the consult fee was? And did you choose to do the surgery two months later or was that the only availability he had?

Hi there, the consultation fee was $100. He had an opening the very next day because someone cancelled, but it was during my midterms. His next opening was 2 months later. My understanding is that he is always fully booked. I wanted to do it in the summer, I told them I'm ready for the surgery if they just give me an appointment but they had no opening. I always knew Dr. Davis was the one. One of my clients at work who was a plastic surgeon suggested to me to let him do my nose for me, I told him I've been considering Dr. Davis, he told me so then I should go to him because he is definitely the best and that's when I knew my search was over.

I know it's not easy getting an appointment with him, but solely based on my personal experience it is definitely worth it!

I do have thick skin. My surgery was estimated to be between 3-4 hours but it ended up taking a little bit over 8 hours. The doctor told me it was one of the most complicated surgeries he had done in the recent years.

Just curious as to why it was complicated! was it a revision?

No, it was a primary. My nose was broken when I was 10. Dr. Davis told me the hump of my nose was completely shattered and it took a lot longer than he was expecting to put it back together. I don't remember if there was more to it because he told me the story while I was in the recovery room, a few hours after my surgery... I don't have a clear memory of that day.
