Hello to everybody, my name is Joseph and i live Italy, i will try to tell you my bad experience with Dr. Richard Davis. On 28.02.2013 i made a revision surgery with the doctor mention, but the end result was a total failure. Because, not only the intervention did not bring any aesthetic improvement but has worsened my breathing. However, the worst thing he did was to not take responsibility for the bad intervention and sought to blame the patient.

is this review even serious?? you rated Dr. Davis 1 star and that's your result? your nose looks fantastic, WAY better than before, it looks natural and masculine, and very attractive. i feel seriously sorry for Dr. Davis having to deal with patients with obvious BDD leaving reviews like this online.

Well he says he has issues with his breathing I think that's a serious matter

Yeah, and is also commenting on the appearance of it and asking another user if they have a vision problem, and rating the doctor 1 star... There are clearly some underlying issues going on internally that need to be addressed with professional help. Best wishes

Dear Artesslanyc, i saw your photos and Dr. Davis has done a good job, but in my case the end result is very different from the simulation and at the same time you can not define a good job. Therefore, it is clear from the photos that the front nose is bulbous and ill-defined and you can not define a good cosmetic result.
I conclude by saying that even the best can make mistakes as it was in my case.

Agreed. I would imagine it's the reason dr Davis probably doesn't want to be involved moving forward.

I agree. Considering that this was already a revision and the patient declared it a "total failure" despite what most people here agree is a good result, the doctor probably realized it was a no-win situation. If he went back in chasing what the patient wants, he runs the risk of truly botching it and then his name would be attached to that.

I must add that, Dr. Davis it has been repeatedly informed of my breathing problem, and the only thing he said was to advise of assume fluticasone proprinato, which did not solve the problem. I want to clarify that before to carry out the revision surgery i had not breathing problems.

I am sorry that you are unhappy, but I see a great deal of improvement. Your nose will continue to refine. After my primary my nose was changing well after 2 years. Give it more time and then maybe you can reassess things then. I really hope you end up with the results you are looking for but from an outside perspective your nose is looking really good.

You look great. Trust me. I think the change is perfect because its not drastic but you look much improved. There is more symmetry and projection.

what did you have done, are there grafts? if so, rib, ear or septal? i can see why you aren't thrilled, the tip is a bit ill-defined. however i agree with the person that said you truly need to give revision 2 yrs. i think you will be happier if some of the residual swelling doesn't turn into scar tissue. but try to do everything possible to keep swelling down. profile still looks really good to me from the 1 photo posted.
