Hi Ladies,
So after hours and hours of researching Dr's in Tampa & Miami, I decided on having my lipo procedure done with Dr. Cesar Velilla in Miramar, FL.
My surgery is 4/19, my experience so far has been awesome. I was hesitant at first with reading some of the bad reviews on the office experience but thankfully it's been positive for me. I have opted for local anesthesia, having lipo on arms, whole back, waist, stomach
Carmela has been helping me from the beginning, she went over the procedure/cost/sent me the bloodwork/ EKG script the day after I made my $500 deposit.
Shortly after I had my bloodwork completed, she notified me that it was on the Dr's desk for review. I got the approval and made my payment. She scheduled my pre-op before I made complete payment because I was on a tight schedule.
Maggie the nurse called me the same day I left a message for her, Breanna my surgical coordinator called me the next day to see if I had any questions. So I have no complaints with getting through, except if you call on a Saturday, then the calls get put on hold a lot, so I just email Carmela. I will update when I go for my pre-op.

Having lipo under local is no joke, but everyone's pain tolerance is different. I couldn't handle it at times but got through to the end. Dr. Velilla was awesome, nurses and staff were too. Putting the anesthesia was the most painful part and suctioning at times was unbearable. I had my chin (didn't hurt at all), my arms (wasn't too bad), my back (hurt like sh**), my abdomen (not too bad), waist (terrible) but it's only because they are taking max amount of fat out. My procedure was only about an hour and a half. I'll post pics today ????

Omg they recommended local to me. I think they might be able to do it better under general though. Idk

I would go general. It was torture for me under local, literally torture. What are you having done?

Omg does it hurt that bad under local

They say everyones pain tolerance is different. For me, it was torture.
I think because it hurt so bad my arms look the same, I can see a difference but not a major one. My waist isn't as small as I wanted it, but again I couldnt handle the pain.

Do you have any lumps/fibrosis or irregularities? Are you happy with your lipo? I have read a lot of negative reviews lately and i am getting scared.

Omg, you are a trooper! I just had a dog ear fixed and minor lipo on that same hip. My nerves were so bad afterward! Lol. The thing is that I think it 'hurt', but I'm not sure. My
anxiety was on 10, so it may have only been pressure that o thought was pain. You know what I mean? Like sometimes you think a needle hurts before it even touches you? Lol

Day 1 post op, Lots of swelling, areas are sore. Massage was painful but worth it. I saw Dr. Velilla and the nurse practitioner 15 minutes after my massage appointment. Very satisfied with my results and the customer service I've received thus far

Thank you! I love my results. My stomach was swollen in this pic but I can see the shape more and more, my arms came out thin too. He's very aggressive, definitely does what he says

I want to do my stomach and full back, then transfer it to my bootie. I have a consultation scheduled for the 29th. We'll see how that goes. I'll let you know. I have been looking for a doctor for too long, and just need to get it done. I had a consultation with Llorente last week but even though he is certified I always go back to see Velilla's work.
Well I wish you the best, let me know who decide to go with and how your consult goes
Thanks for any feedback!
