Boards are a nightmare... faja also.

I hate the faja and boards. The first week my skin was very bruised and sensitive so Dr. V said to wait. Well week 1 came and went and the faja went on. It was painful the 2nd day then I got used to it. They didn't add the boards until this past Saturday and they are horrible. I'm getting used to them but it feels like I'm wearing this big bear suit and rolling around lol....I wear stupid maxi dresses and cardigans to cover up the bulkiness. Week 2 I was at a bar in the Keys flaunting the new booty in VS sport leggings as soon as the drain was out. Week 3 (current) I feel like an Oompa Loompa. WTH! This doctor does not play so I just keep reminding me that back in Colombia they use the boards and they all look so amazing. Pain and discomfort = beauty!!

So after surgery you have a drain for 2 weeks? and then its taken out and week 3 and going forward its just the faja with boards and no sitting on the butt for about how much longer?
I'm really considering this doctor but I work full time and I live in another state I would have to fly there and fly back. Can you describe everything after the surgery to see the timeline and everything that happens right after? and what your allowed to do? and what the best thing to do to avoid infections or any complications?
My time line is a bit different because of my recovery taking a bit longer. My skin still has bruising even though I used the Bromeliad and Arnica. Here it's goes: Surgery was on 3/29. Week 1 surgery and rest. Drain was removed after 5 days. I had surgery on Wednesday and had drain removed in Monday :D Week 2 Faja was put on Wednesday. 7 days after surgery. This past Thursday I was on a plane for a business. Then this past Saturday I flew in and they put the boards on. I use a booty buddy. I bought it in Amazing for 90.00 If you are coming from out of town expect to stay in town for a week to take it easy. I didn't use the booty buddy till 10 days after. I sleep on my stomach and sides .
How are you doing now?? Still happy will you post your before photos? I am flying in 6/26 for my procedure. So I will need to fly back after the week?
I would recommend after the drain is removed. I feel weird posting pics I'm in my phase 2 faja now.
Lol that was funny to read.. i feel weird too lol. I have my appt with velilla on may 27. So excited and nervous.

Thank you for sharing your pics. If you dont mind eventually please share some pics depicting Velilla's work.. ex.. belly pics showing the stomach and maybe some sideway pics showing the shape. That would really help. Did Velilla do 4 incisions or two at the bottom? Thank you!

Just had my surgery this past Wednesday. DR.VELILLA IS THE BEST IN MIAMI. Coming from a Colombian girl born and raised in Miami...Dr. Lipo is the real deal!

I had a whole thing written out and this app keeps erasing it! I will rewrite it in emails this week.

I'm on day 4 and no pain so fair. Only discomfort from not sitting on this amazing bum!!!! I have had so many complements already and I love how comfortable I feel in my own skin. I can throw anything on and feel like a million bucks. That Beyoncé thang going on....xoxoxo dolls!
