I am at my highest weight right now (170lbs) after having 3 children. I have decided to document my process so that I can track my progress and hopefully help others. I am considered "skinny" by a lot of people so I know that many would be surprised that I am having surgery, but I have a lot of fat around my midsection and have never really had a waist or much of a butt. I am not curvy, and have more of a boxy shape. I have worked out in the past, but can never seem to lose my belly fat and squats have toned my legs but never really helped my butt.

I am scheduled for liposuction and BBL with Cesar Velilla in FL in February. I want a very natural look- I do not want a huge ass, I just want to make it rounder and give my body more of a shape instead of being so boxy. I went for a consultation in October and am scheduled for blood work this month (January). I like the looks of the facility, but my consultant has been hard to reach after getting my deposit. I almost cancelled because she was so unresponsive. I am remaining positive because I like the work that I have seen on-line by this doctor. I will provide before pictures soon...

Hey! Good luck on your journey. I was leaning towards Dr.Hasan but I stumbled upon Dr. Velilla's Instagram page and fell in love with his results. I hope everything gets sorted out with your deposit. Can't wait to see your results.

I heard that hasan punctured a patients liver last week and she is still recovering on hospital. Please look into that before going to him

Yeah I've been following that story. It's so unfortunate but previous to that I decided on Dr.Alvarez. Thanks for the update and concern

Oh wow, so sorry to hear that. Even though I'm not booked with Hasan, I know that complications can happen with anyone. That's the scariest part of this whole process for me, especially since so few people know that I'm doing this (and they would think I'm crazy for doing this with all its risks).

Yeah it was horrible news. Risks are a part of any surgery the main issue was the way he responded to it. He told the lady it was "normal". When she went to the ER they said it was definitely not normal, it's a super rare complication, and she was close to losing her life.

I had lipo on flanks, and entire back under local with Dr V in December . I slept like a baby and didn't feel anything. I did vomit afterwards. I would never get general due to the risk. I'm going getting general if it's a life saving procedure not for vanity surgery. I'm pleased with my results!

Blood work/may switch to general

So I had my blood work done earlier this week. I'm still waiting on the results but not really worried about that. I did meet with my consultant that day and she made me REALLY nervous. She said that the doctor may try to convince me to get my back done too. I don't think I need it. I can get rid of the little back fat that I have after surgery. Plus when I first met her she never said anything about my back being an issue. Also, I was planning on doing local anesthesia but she said that she's heard complaints from her patients that they could still feel pain. She even said that one patient came back upset and told her to never recommend local to anyone. Now I'm considering going with general anesthesia bc I can't imagine me being awake and uncomfortable with pain for the 3 hrs that she said I will be in surgery. I'm really confused at this point. I know everyone's body and tolerance is different but I'm not sure I'm willing to take that chance. I get to meet Dr Velilla in 2 weeks so I plan to ask him questions and make my decision then. I'll try to post my before pics this week.

Very helpful that your tracking your progress. Keep in mind the consultant is a sales person so selling more gets them more. I will however agree with the anesthesia. Go general. I felt everything with the local and I have a very high tolerance for pain. Three kids all natural. Much success to you luv can't wait to see pics.

Hey girly, I'm scheduled for April 7 and after reading and actually talking to two people that got work done from him I may reconsider. They had to go back for the second time. I don't think I i wanna put my body through what sounds like crazy amount of pain a second round. I'm coming from NY but I intitially started looking into this doctor, since I'm from Colombia and thought it may be safer to do it in the states. Please keep us posted. I'm a bit upset since deposit is not refundable. Im going there Either way and try to enjoy myself for a week. Maybe you can change my mind. Good luck sweetie! Decisions....;(

Oh wow, do you happen to know what they had done? And why they had to go back? I actually know someone who had work done by Dr Velilla and she was very happy with her results and she looks great to me. I'm curious to know what the issue was with the women you spoke to so I can know what to look out for. At this point I'm really close to surgery day and I'm comfortable with my choice of doctor. I will definitely give a thorough review once I've had my procedure. I hope that will help you or anyone else who is considering him. Also, my friend is also having the same procedure on the same day with the same doctor. I can also give her perspective too since she's not on this site. Hope that helps!

Yes love she had bbl and didn't need much and came out with her left booty cheek bigger. He didn't charge or anything but she did have a time frame to reschedule to get that done. She is 4 months and says likes her body. The other girl was pretty big and it seems like she still had some love handles and fat around fat which they said they would remove. She is a nurse so she said they were talking her language and she was firm. I am so excited for you!!! Please keep me posted on you and your friends recovery. What's her body like now? And what is she getting done? I was super confident as well untill recently. I'm 135 and 5'5 I have a nice shape I just have a bit of stubborn fat and my but could get some projection. I bet time is going slow but fast Huh? Aaaaah exciting!

YES!!! Time is creeping by...I am still in shock that I am actually doing this! Most people would be shocked that I am having surgery because I appear small with clothes on, but that extra belly fat has always been an issue with me. After having kids, it got worse and my butt has ALWAYS bothered me. I eat well and I have worked out for years and even spent money on trainers, with no real significant change to my body. I look horrible in long summer dresses because my butt appears as flat as my back! My friend is approximately 5"8' and 195lbs. She's bigger than me, but she is solid except around her midsection (mostly due to pregnancy). She carries much of her excess weight around her stomach area. We both have no butt and narrow hips. I want a really natural look and she wants more of a curvy, voluptuous look . She's getting lipo/bbl/ full back done. I can't wait to share pictures and my recovery story with RS. This site has been so helpful to me. I've learned so much.

Thank you for your updates. I too will be seeing him early Feb Im traveling internationally. I would love to communicate more with you. I've opted for local Anesthetics I was told no pain. So if no pain why pay $1000 more for general ? Further more I want to make sure the Dr I requested is who will be looking after me.

Hi! I was initially told no pain too, but I've read many reviews of very painful experiences with local. I think I've only read two reviews of feeling no pain- but I understand everyone has different pain tolerances. I am not willing to take that chance at this point. I haven't heard many instances of switching doctors at evolution, but I would rather reschedule than to see someone else at his office. I personally prefer his work over the other doctors at the facility for the look that I am going for. Plus I live in Florida so there are no travel issues for me and my work is flexible with when I leave for surgery. When is your surgery date? We might be in the area at the same time! Feel free to inbox me.
