Feeling pretty good

WORTH IT
My post op follow up is tomorrow- feeling pretty good. Started back to work (from home) and no issues although I'm a little tired. Getting excited for my implants to look how they're supposed to (drop and fluff) but totally amazed at how soft breasts feel like again since I didn't realize how hard and encapsulated my breasts had gotten to be... They went from 90's MTV grapefruit looking boobs to actually looking like real ones again... Praying they stay this way because I know the odds of having capsular contracture is higher if you've had it already... I'm really babying myself this time and making sure I do everything like I'm supposed to do and not overdoing anything!

I can't say enough about Dr. Erickson and the staff and team at Midsota Plastic Surgery Center. She is the nicest, most talented, and honest, down to earth woman. I am glad I chose her after my research and she was thorough and very knowledgeable about everything. Dr. Erickson was also very supportive about what I wanted, how I wanted my augmentation and was respectful about my choices. My pre operative appointments were informative and she didn't hurry or rush and made me feel like it was really important to her that my experience was good. The patient coordinators, Jennifer and Michelle were outstanding, kept in contact all the way, were helpful and so positive and friendly. I was surprised at how nice and not rushed everyone was like regular doctor's offices are. Surgery day was easy. The nurses, anesthesiologists, and staff were so friendly and helpful- I was surprised how much time they take with patients. They gave me everything I needed- from awesome cozy purple socks, two soft surgical bras, a beautiful silver plated compact mirror as a thank you gift from the coordinators, and an awesome large black canvas tote bag that had a brand new soft, fluffy spa style bathrobe! My doctor called me last night, after surgery while I was at the hotel to see how I was doing, and the Nurse told me at the next Post Op appointment, they well go over scar regimen and that they provide all the scar stuff so not to spend $$ since they give you all you need. I'm amazed I guess, because even though they should give you everything you need because you're paying so much, most places probably don't go that much out of their way to do that. I loved my plastic surgeon, the staff, everyone who made mtg experience there great and made me feel important and made it extra special!

Can I ask you why you decided to go under the muscle the second time around?
My implants were ruptured and I had capsular contracture so my surgeon recommended that we go this route during the fix. I went outside the muscle to begin with because the healing time is less (so they say) and I had to get back to work.
Thanks for responding. I want to go subglandular for a few reasons but always like to know others opinions too. Good luck and enjoy!!

Recovering.... Resting. Sore

Surgery went well- 5 hours for removal of capsules and old implants, creation of new pockets and placement of new implants under the muscle- 360 ccL and 375ccR. Just resting and recovering at home watching tv. Considerably more pain than previous surgery but expected that since more was done and surgery was longer and more detailed.

Surgery is tomorrow!

Wish me lots of luck and speedy recovery. Removal and replacement is tomorrow and not sure why I'm nervous since I've been thru this before but I am... Hoping that things go well and that there isn't a lot of issues during healing.

How’d it go?
Love them and glad I got them fixed! They're amazing! Much better under the muscle than over- looks more natural.
Vu!
How did you feel living with your previous implants, if I may ask? Any BII type of symptoms?
I had no issues but discovered the implants were ruptured during a scan for my appendix when it ruptured last summer.
Thanks for taking the time to answer! :)
