THIRD DEGREE BURNS - PLEASE READ

I had my second procedure done April 20, same place, same PA. However, during the treatment I was informed that MiraDry updated the machine and that the cooling time was reduced meaning that the procedure would be shorter, and arguably they could treat more people in a day.

Treatment goes about the same, though I mention I'm feeling a little burning - she asks if I need her to stop, I say no I don't think so.

Cut to two days later, the bruising under my arms is getting really really bad - super dark purple and tender.

Two days later my tissue starts to necrotize (die) and so now I have two holes under my arms, where the skin has literally died and will need to seal around it. I will have scarring and likely nerve damage under my arms.

ALSO, I'm still f*&4#ing sweating...... SO all in all, I've contacted an attorney and have no idea what my next steps are but wanted to warn people about the recalibration of the machine.

Pictures are from the last week.... So basically I've had an open wound under my arm for over a month and probably have another month to go (Did I mention it's 90 degrees here and I can't wear a tank top, also it smells like a wound which is disgusting)

Like all the reviews - I've suffered from...

Like all the reviews - I've suffered from Hyperhidrosis basically from the onset of puberty. It is bad enough that I can sweat through a maxi pad... (As in I put several maxi pads on the inside of my blazer and sweat through them....

1st Procedure: Was completed in January at level 5. Typical swelling, had a small bump (wasn't an infection), went away, my pits look normal now. Sweating was immediately reduced, but overall I think it is perhaps a reduction of 15-20%. I can't say that I was disappointed because I was well aware of the fact I was going to have to do at least 2 procedures.

2nd Procedure: Performed today 4/23. I'll say this - I think the lidocaine pricks SUCK. There are like 20 pricks in your arm pits, but that is the worst of it. Pain scale - 5/10 for me. I didn't feel the laser at all.

I have been icing - I find it's best to freeze two small water bottles and use those (they stay frozen longer than the ice packs I got from the clinic). Last time I iced pretty religiously for the first 48-72 hours, even if I wasn't uncomfortable to help the healing process.

I plan to update - but am really curious to see if this is permanent or if this is going to be a temporary fix. Several people have noted that their sweating came back (I do wonder if it is less, but it doesn't feel that way). All in all - I don't expect to be perfectly dry (dream), but I would love to just sweat a normal amount when I have to get up to speak!

A Clinic in Minneapolis Loved my practitioner! Don't want to share her name until I know how this works out - she is amazing, and if this doesn't work it certainly wasn't because of her.
