20 month BA update!
Hi ladies! I wanted to give you an update on how I'm doing 20 months post BA!
The first 6 months are full of ups and downs no doubt. I had mondors chords and shooting nerve pain, my left breast took forever to drop and fluff and I worried a lot, but I had a great doctor who did a wonderful job, in my opinion. Take your time in researching the best doctor you can find. It's worth it!
In regards to working out, I can do everything like before my BA but now look sexier in my tank tops lol. Truly I think besides getting married and having kids, this is one of the best things I've done for myself.
I sleep in wireless bra every night and wear an underwire bra during the day (for example Feathers by Natori or Panache at Nordstroms). I received 500 cc and wear a 32G in Natori and 32F in Panache. I'm 5'8"and weigh 140lbs for those of you ladies interested in stats. I don't care for padded bras as my size feels perfect for me without the padding. I have worn a few and I look huge. I worried about whether 500cc was too big for me and after surgery they felt huge! They did settle down during the dropping and fluffing stage and then I found the appropriate bras. It's a blast having big boobs! I totally recommend it to anyone on the fence.

You look fantastic!!! Boobs and body girl! When I'm 50, I am hoping I look as great as you! I would think you were in your 20s! Just had my surgery this morning and I have same stats as you as far as height and weight. I got 355/325 to correct some mild asymmetry and hoping for great results like yours and easy recovery :). Thanks for posting

Hello Gem110! Thank you for the compliment! I think some of it has to do with genetics as my 3 sisters have similar body types. Did you have a BA in 2014 and in 2016? I looked up your profile so am a bit confused. How are you feeling?

Thanks for your helpful updates! I think it's great you sleep in a bra at night. It certainly can't hurt and help defy gravity as we age. You look great, so glad you're still enjoying your results!

Your results look amazing! I am scheduled to have my surgery on March 2nd and I am excited. I am going with the hp 495cc, under. Looking at your pictures was very helpful for me.I had a nurse make an off hand remark that 500cc "was a really big size". I have been a bit self conscious about my choice since then. It has really help to look and see what other ladies have done.

Push ups
A question for all of you...are you able to comfortably do push-ups? Did your PS warn you not to do push-ups? My PS told me to never do any butterfly moves again as there is a risk of moving the implants out of their pockets but nothing about push-ups. When I do push-ups, I experience the peculiar feeling of my implants moving while my pecs move but I don't think that I'm putting myself at risk. Any advice?

Hi bela99999!
How is it possible our doctors have the very same unusual name?! My PS' name is also Dr. Joseph Gryskiewicz! He has two offices located in Burnsville and Edina Minnesota. When reading your profile, I was confused as to where you had your surgery performed. Funny.
I have to say that your body looks fabulous now with implants! 550ccs were a perfect size for you especially since you did not have any breast tissue to begin with.
I sent my Dr. Joe an email with my push-up questions and will post his answer. The question has been asked here on RS but there are multiple different answers from the doctors, so at this time I need to follow my PS instructions. Happy Healing!

I know, our Dr.'s names are remarkably similar. I've looked twice myself. Thank you for complimenting my choice in size. I am happy with them, and no boob greed. I look forward to hearing what your doc says. I should probably ask mine. I have stayed away from push ups as well. I think that building up too much muscle in the chest area can distort the implant...maybe. I think that's why bodybuilders or athletes sometimes get them above the muscle.

I asked my doc this question and the answer was that it could still be done but reco'd to ease back into any workouts and only after 6weeks after surgery (no walking even allowed for exercise) :-(. I am curious what other docs have to say.

Ok so I nursed two kids and was left with mostly sagging 34B. I probably could have fit into a 34A but I didn't pay much attention to my bra size pre BA . If you look at my profile there are some before pictures taken at the doctors office posted. I bet we are the same size pre BA. For sure go with 500 and no smaller if you want full boobs and cleavage and it's noticeable under your clothing but not where everyone stares at your chest. One RSer was correct in saying men love them and will look down at them and then at your eyes and smile. Are you comfortable with that? I believe it's 3 tablespoons of silicone for 25 cc so if you went up to 550cc you would have another 6 tablespoons in each breasts bigger than mine. Are you 5'10"? If so then yes you can totally handle 550 cc and it's not greedy at all but it will look very proportionate to your tall body. I don't think that would be too big for you at all!
I am 44 years old and hopefully ( fingers crossed) if I don't develop any more complications this will be my last surgery, I am not planning to go for a 3rd or 4th just because I feel small! So forget about the trend, I will pick what I like!! As long I am a fuller D I will be happy, no less than D+!!!
Yes you are so right I don't feel old either!! My kids are 18 and 22 yrs old. When I think of my 22 year old, I feel like I am an old lady, then I had her when I was 22, which is quiet young considering how my friends had their babies in their 30's! So yes we are not old, in fact we are just starting to bloom!! Hehehe.
May be I will show your boob pictures as my wish boob! They look perfect!! lol
Also very important is that I had a dual plane internal lift. Dr.Joe has a test with a recipe card...pre BA. If you put the card in the fold under your breast and if your nipple hangs below where the card meets the crease or even a little below, then he would recommend either a dual plane lift or a regular lift. This was s very important part of my success as the procedure involves releasing of a higher muscle which allows the implant to move up higher which resulted in correct nipples placement on my breasts.
I agree. I think you should go up to 550cc!
I'm thrilled that your PS performs dual plane as I believe that was a huge part of my results. After nursing 2 babies and age, I needed that internal lift. He considered a lollipop external lift originally but then said he was sure he could get great results with the dual plane.
I remember us chatting about me having more breast tissue than you prior to BA, therefore, I think 550ccs would get you the same look (with the dual plane). Dual plane, I believe, has to be performed via the fold. At this time, I can hardly see my scars.
I'm excited for you! I'm not kidding when I say how much the dual plane procedure lifts the nipples up. I've seen too many pictures on this site of women who should have had that procedure performed but their PS did not inform them of that option. I'm happy you found one who can do it!
I feel bad that you had to change your name on this site. I don't know what happened but am hoping you are getting positive, reassuring encouragement now!
Also, know that recovery with the dual plane can take longer to recover from but it's worth it. The best pain reliever for me were ice packs.
