You look so awesome! I had my first consult with Dr. Joe and the more reviews I see like yours makes me feel like I should just schedule with him instead of waiting for 6 months to see the other PS for a consult. Wish I could do 500cc, but my bdw is too small.

Oh, thank you! My bdw is 13 and I'm 5'8". Dr. Joe told me his average patient is 5'4" and they typically get 350ccs. I'm 4" taller than his avg patient so we discussed at length what size would give me the look I was looking for considering my height and figure. I really appreciated that we had that lengthy discussion. I'm sure there are many great plastic surgeons in Minnesota but Dr. Joe is an artist in his trade.

Hello friend! Finally I found someone with my stats and almost around the same age!! I was so shy thinking I am too freaking old to have a boob job and be on this forum chatting with all these young ladies!! lol Plus my boobs don't look as nice as these ladies at all, two grown beloved kids who sucked the life out of me when they were babies plus age I suppose...:( As you know I am going under the knife again...:( and I am still trying to figure it out what size of implants to ask for! What was your pre op size and I know you now wear F cup, am I right? I have asked my new PS for 500cc silicone, I complained to him I still look flat chested even though right now I have 390 and 360 saline mp. So he told me I should go for HP. I was 34A before. Right now may be 34 B and small C? As my implants are dropping the boobs are shrinking!! I am wondering if I should go for 550!! ( getting greedy!!) Your's look perfect and amazing on you, so I thought I would you could help me!! Thank you! xoxoxo

Hi Ocean72!! Thank you for your kind words! I had similar feelings believe me about age but I am young at heart and man our men love it when we continue to take care of ourselves so I went for it!

Ok so I nursed two kids and was left with mostly sagging 34B. I probably could have fit into a 34A but I didn't pay much attention to my bra size pre BA . If you look at my profile there are some before pictures taken at the doctors office posted. I bet we are the same size pre BA. For sure go with 500 and no smaller if you want full boobs and cleavage and it's noticeable under your clothing but not where everyone stares at your chest. One RSer was correct in saying men love them and will look down at them and then at your eyes and smile. Are you comfortable with that? I believe it's 3 tablespoons of silicone for 25 cc so if you went up to 550cc you would have another 6 tablespoons in each breasts bigger than mine. Are you 5'10"? If so then yes you can totally handle 550 cc and it's not greedy at all but it will look very proportionate to your tall body. I don't think that would be too big for you at all!

Also I've been reading that a lot of doctors are pushing for smaller implants because I think it's popular right now and it may be their personal preference. Get what you want for your body type and don't worry about the latest fashion trends. Also let your doctor know exactly what you want and how you're feeling about size don't let him talk you into something smaller than 500cc if you want a look like mine. At your height 500cc may look smaller on you then me so take that into consideration.

Oops I see you are 5'8" and my weight! Ha you're going to have to make that decision between 500 and 550 but remember it's only 6 Tablespoons more each side I believe.

Thank you so much for helping me out!! Yes we have the same stats!! lol I think I can handle the extra boob and the look I will get...lolol Men will look at you no mater what!! Honestly now, my friends look at me and ask me..."you had a boob job? How come they are so small?"...lolol I would like to think I am a D but every bra shop I went to, they all measured me B...:(

I am 44 years old and hopefully ( fingers crossed) if I don't develop any more complications this will be my last surgery, I am not planning to go for a 3rd or 4th just because I feel small! So forget about the trend, I will pick what I like!! As long I am a fuller D I will be happy, no less than D+!!!

Yes you are so right I don't feel old either!! My kids are 18 and 22 yrs old. When I think of my 22 year old, I feel like I am an old lady, then I had her when I was 22, which is quiet young considering how my friends had their babies in their 30's! So yes we are not old, in fact we are just starting to bloom!! Hehehe.

May be I will show your boob pictures as my wish boob! They look perfect!! lol

Hi again - I wanted to ask you if you think your size now at 360 and 390cc is way too small or just kind of small? If way too small then that makes me think that you might be happier with 550cc.

Also very important is that I had a dual plane internal lift. Dr.Joe has a test with a recipe card...pre BA. If you put the card in the fold under your breast and if your nipple hangs below where the card meets the crease or even a little below, then he would recommend either a dual plane lift or a regular lift. This was s very important part of my success as the procedure involves releasing of a higher muscle which allows the implant to move up higher which resulted in correct nipples placement on my breasts.

Oh wow! The recipe card test is very interesting! My surgeon did not say anything about me needing a lift. Both of them, the ex and the current!! I will ask him though once I see him again. Just to be sure. The current one said he can make them look pretty and I can easily accommodate 500 cc implants. Because I was worried if 500 cc will cause me more grief and if my skin quality is good so that it won't sag. Now I am thinking going for 550!! Talk about being greedy!! Lol My breast look really small, no one can tell I had a boob job unless I tell them or wear skin hugging super tight clothes. Also now I have saline which sticks out more than silicone and I will be going for silicone. Thats why I am thinking 550 will be better and I may get a better side boobs. Because I am going for HP which will reduce the width. I am gonna repost my pre op boob picture, once I hide those ugly nipples!! U will see my boobs almost look like yours pre op except you have more breast tissue, meaning yours look bigger than mine!! Lol

Look for some before and after pics of dual plane procedures to compare yourself to them. (I posted a link but RS doesn't allow that so they removed it). Sorry RS!

I agree. I think you should go up to 550cc!

I was reading about dual plane, but I am not sure if I have enough breast tissue to cover the implants, also I am going to have a revision and my surgeon will be doing some pocket repair, so not sure if dual plane option is available for me, right now mine are sub-muscular. I will ask my PS, I am not exactly sure what he is planning to do!!

Thank you! I gave my ex-ps a really bad review, and I feel better! I am not a mean person, but both him and his wife/office manager just pushed my last button!! I closed that chapter of my life and I am now counting my days! I will send an email to my new surgeon sometimes end of December asking all these questions. My pre-op appointment is in January! I don't wanna bother him now because I already asked him way too many stupid questions!! Lol I have been working out 6 days a week to get myself toned and ready for the big boobs!! Lolol

Btw I saved your gorgeous boob pictures for my wish boob and I will show it to my PS when I see him!! I will tell him " Do whatever it takes, sew the pockets, if it's necessary nailed them, glue them, duct taped them on to my ribcage, just do whatever it takes to make my boobs as pretty as these!! " Hehehe

LOL! You're funny! I totally get it too. I see Anna1989 replied to you and doesn't she have gorgeous results and her body is amazing too. Here is what I've noticed: her waist to breast comparison is beautiful. She is so thin but heathy and her breasts are full and perfect. The combo is very attractive as you can tell by how many of us have used her pictures as our wish pics. I'm 52 but continue to fight the fat that easily comes on if we give up. Keep working out like you are and don't ever give up! I love your spirit through this trying time!

I also saved Anna's boob pic as my wish boob! But I am more in love with yours because we have the same height and weight and we are about the same age!! Anna is way younger than me and I feel that may be asking for boobs like hers is too much to ask for at my age!! Lolol Your body look amazing. I have seen many ladies who are in their 50's and they don't look even as close as you! You look very young. My skin even look older than yours! So whatever you are doing to keep yourself in shape, you are doing a very good job!! Keep up the good work! And share with me the secret so that I can also look like you!! I found that carb and sugar are my biggest enemies! I eat low carb low sugar low fat diet!! Thank you again! Hugzzzz :)

Hello friend: This is Ocean! I changed myself to Mulan as it seems to me I have been forced to fight with everyone and everything!! Just to let you know, hope its ok if I use your gorgeous boob picture as my wish picture! I showed my new surgeon today and he said they are beautiful !! I asked him to make mine as pretty as yours! So he said he will keep my wish boob pictures hanging on the wall in the surgery suit during surgery and he will try out various sizes of implants until he gets the right one that he feels gives me size, shape and look like my wish boob! He also feels I can easily go for 550 HP. He also said he always does dual plane technique and he prefers to do the incision in the fold. My old one was peri areolar, I told him I didn't care even if I have two incisional scars! I am super excited!!! Thank you again! Hugzzz :)

Hi Mulan (aka Ocean!),
I'm thrilled that your PS performs dual plane as I believe that was a huge part of my results. After nursing 2 babies and age, I needed that internal lift. He considered a lollipop external lift originally but then said he was sure he could get great results with the dual plane.

I remember us chatting about me having more breast tissue than you prior to BA, therefore, I think 550ccs would get you the same look (with the dual plane). Dual plane, I believe, has to be performed via the fold. At this time, I can hardly see my scars.

I'm excited for you! I'm not kidding when I say how much the dual plane procedure lifts the nipples up. I've seen too many pictures on this site of women who should have had that procedure performed but their PS did not inform them of that option. I'm happy you found one who can do it!

I feel bad that you had to change your name on this site. I don't know what happened but am hoping you are getting positive, reassuring encouragement now!

Also, know that recovery with the dual plane can take longer to recover from but it's worth it. The best pain reliever for me were ice packs.

Thank you so much for your support! My first PS threatened to sue me for my reviews about him on RS and another social media, so I changed my name, just for a break! Yes my new PS said most of the newer surgeons only do dual plane, I was not sure what my ex ps did but my new surgeon has requested for all my medical records from my ex PS. I gave your boob pictures as my wish boob pictures!! Hope its ok with you! I felt that we have the same stats and we are about the same age range so your boob pictures will be more appropriate for me to use as a guide! He will keep them on the wall in the OR during surgery and he will also keep different sizes of implants. By using your pictures as a guide he will use the implants that he thinks will give me the size and look I want. I basically gave him the permission to use whatever size implants it takes to give me the size and look as closest as yours!! But he assured me he would not go more than 600 plus. I don't think I want 700. He also said he prefers under the fold incision but he said he could use my old areolar incision but I told him I did not want him to use my old incision as my nipples became very sensitive after first surgery and I still have pain. I don't care if I have another incisional mark on my breasts. He said going through nipples increases the chance of developing CC. Another consulting surgeon also told me that. I will have two scars but as long as I don't develop CC I don't care. He said for three weeks I will not be able to lift more than 10 lbs. I usually have a very good pain threshold, last time I only took Tylenol, so I am hoping this time I will also get away from taking narcotics for my pain!! Thank you again!! Oh btw my ps said you have a really good result! I hope mine turn out somewhat close to yours!!

Thank you! And yes of course use my pictures ! I'm so excited for you! February is right around the corner now! I've read where some women didn't listen to their PS' instructions about lifting and lifted their children and then had issues with CC. Scary stuff.

20 month BA update!

User Avatar

Hi ladies! I wanted to give you an update on how I'm doing 20 months post BA!

The first 6 months are full of ups and downs no doubt. I had mondors chords and shooting nerve pain, my left breast took forever to drop and fluff and I worried a lot, but I had a great doctor who did a wonderful job, in my opinion. Take your time in researching the best doctor you can find. It's worth it!

In regards to working out, I can do everything like before my BA but now look sexier in my tank tops lol. Truly I think besides getting married and having kids, this is one of the best things I've done for myself.

I sleep in wireless bra every night and wear an underwire bra during the day (for example Feathers by Natori or Panache at Nordstroms). I received 500 cc and wear a 32G in Natori and 32F in Panache. I'm 5'8"and weigh 140lbs for those of you ladies interested in stats. I don't care for padded bras as my size feels perfect for me without the padding. I have worn a few and I look huge. I worried about whether 500cc was too big for me and after surgery they felt huge! They did settle down during the dropping and fluffing stage and then I found the appropriate bras. It's a blast having big boobs! I totally recommend it to anyone on the fence.

You look fantastic!!! Boobs and body girl! When I'm 50, I am hoping I look as great as you! I would think you were in your 20s! Just had my surgery this morning and I have same stats as you as far as height and weight. I got 355/325 to correct some mild asymmetry and hoping for great results like yours and easy recovery :). Thanks for posting

Hello Gem110! Thank you for the compliment! I think some of it has to do with genetics as my 3 sisters have similar body types. Did you have a BA in 2014 and in 2016? I looked up your profile so am a bit confused. How are you feeling?

Your results look amazing! I am scheduled to have my surgery on March 2nd and I am excited. I am going with the hp 495cc, under. Looking at your pictures was very helpful for me.I had a nurse make an off hand remark that 500cc "was a really big size". I have been a bit self conscious about my choice since then. It has really help to look and see what other ladies have done.

Push ups

User Avatar

A question for all of you...are you able to comfortably do push-ups? Did your PS warn you not to do push-ups? My PS told me to never do any butterfly moves again as there is a risk of moving the implants out of their pockets but nothing about push-ups. When I do push-ups, I experience the peculiar feeling of my implants moving while my pecs move but I don't think that I'm putting myself at risk. Any advice?

Hi bela99999!
How is it possible our doctors have the very same unusual name?! My PS' name is also Dr. Joseph Gryskiewicz! He has two offices located in Burnsville and Edina Minnesota. When reading your profile, I was confused as to where you had your surgery performed. Funny.

I have to say that your body looks fabulous now with implants! 550ccs were a perfect size for you especially since you did not have any breast tissue to begin with.

I sent my Dr. Joe an email with my push-up questions and will post his answer. The question has been asked here on RS but there are multiple different answers from the doctors, so at this time I need to follow my PS instructions. Happy Healing!

I know, our Dr.'s names are remarkably similar. I've looked twice myself. Thank you for complimenting my choice in size. I am happy with them, and no boob greed. I look forward to hearing what your doc says. I should probably ask mine. I have stayed away from push ups as well. I think that building up too much muscle in the chest area can distort the implant...maybe. I think that's why bodybuilders or athletes sometimes get them above the muscle.

I asked my doc this question and the answer was that it could still be done but reco'd to ease back into any workouts and only after 6weeks after surgery (no walking even allowed for exercise) :-(. I am curious what other docs have to say.
