WORTH IT

I had a mini tummy tuck to correct previous abdominal scarring and a double capsulectomy for Baker Scale Grade IV capsular contractures.
From start to finish the entire experience filled me with confidence during pre to post surgery consultations. All of the team; Mr Hurren, Katherine & Abigail were kind, helpful and professional and nothing was ever too much trouble to explain . Mr Hurren discussed at great length options for my surgery to make sure I would be happy with the outcome and understood the procedures in full.
Both surgeries went through with no complications and the results far exceeded my expectations. I would recommend Mr Hurren for any cosmetic procedures and I am so grateful for what he has done for me , you could not be in better, more expert & professional hands. Thankyou .

How does this count as a mini tummy tuck since your incision looks quite long based on the pictures?

Mini Tummy tucks v Tummy tucks are classified by the area the skin is removed from . If only the skin below the belly button is addressed it’s classed as a mini tummy tuck . If the surgery is both above and below the belly button and involves repositioning the belly button that is a full tummy tuck. The length of scar would be dependent on what outcome was required as every patient is different . Mine was most likely longer as the aim was to reduce the scarring left behind by previous surgeries. Also I had micropore tape over the new scar which was a few inches longer than the actual scar itself. If you were considering this procedure it would be best to discuss with your surgeon as to what would be required to address your particular concern . I hope this helps!
