2 months post op. Feeling good with my decision. I honestly can’t believe I was ever that big.

Did your waist measurements go down?
My waist stayed about the same, but my hip measurement decreased dramatically. I carried all of my extra skin and fat below the belly button

Feeling great!
So I’m 4 days post op and feel fantastic. Yesterday was a real turning point and I’m hoping it was the last day I needed Tylenol. Day 2 was horrendous, stitches hurt, couldn’t get comfortable and was cranky af. But today I haven’t taken any Tylenol and can move around just fine. I’m def still swollen in my abdomen and I get up and down a little slower bc I’m being mindful of my incision but otherwise I feel great! I’m actually shocked about how well I feel, I’m guessing bc there was no musculature involved. I totally wish I would’ve done this years ago.

I’m getting my MTT done in 2 weeks feeling so nervous your post has helped me feel at ease.
I won’t be having musculature done either. I’m hopig for a speedy recovery I have to be back to work 10 days after surgery.
I think you will be ok! Definitely able to go back to work in 10 days. The hardest part for me was not being able to sleep the first 2 days and the nausea (which I wasn’t expecting). I took Benadryl for both. Helped with both the nausea and made me sleepy. Good luck and keep me posted on your progress!
How are you feeling? How did surgery go?
