Flat-side ????

Good morning Ladies. I finally made it to the flat side. Dr P is very sweet, nice & straight forward. I was completely comfortable talking to him. My procedure was yesterday. Haven't opened my binder just yet, but I will in a few minutes. Today's pain is totally different than yesterday, anesthesia makes a big difference, LOL.

Yes it was bad. Pain is better, still dealing with swelling & my incision, but i gotta remember I will be only 4 weeks as of Tues. It's been a rough ride for me. I truthful can not say it was worth yet. Maybe in time. I paid $5000

Good morning dolls. Well all I can say is day 4 is better than day 3,2 & 1; the best day was surgery day, anesthesia that is, lol. I'm better. Have a sharp pain in right side every now & then, but otherwise I'm holding up. 1 day at a time is all it can be. Prayers to all the dolls. ????

How was it when they were prepping you for surgery? and the IV sedation?

Hi doll. I was nervous, but it wasn't bad. I know all about IV in the neck, so it didn't bother me. A slight sting & I watch the fluids go in, then he said I'm giving you something to relax, I think it was Valium or Versed she said & that's all I remember

When do you go?
August 6, 2017
I'm scheduled for Jan 5, too busy right now to have. Im having a TT, lipo and BBL so I know I'll be under anesthesia a while so I'm worried about that. And I'm worried about how to recover from both at the same time. I'm a nurse so I start thinking way too much about what if's!! Plus I live at the coast of NC so I'll be staying in GA I'm thinking 4 days.

Lol. I'm a nurse to. Dr P said you nurse are the worst patients. I was there for 8:15 & started about 8:30 & my anesthesiologist was a lady, very sweet, I don't remember much, I think I was done for 11-12. To much thinking does it, because I did the same thing with how long I will be out for, I even thought about intubation, vents, etc & then I said a prayer & I was fine. They used Ketamine, Valium, Versed & I took Phenergan 1 hour prior to, trust me I asked the drugs used, lol. You'll be fine. Now, I'm not sure about recovery for all because with your BBL you can't lay on your butt & with the TT you can't lay on your stomach, so invest in that bed pillow thing with the hole cut out. Mines was done Tues & I left Thursday. Keep in touch & I'll be checking on you.

Good luck with your recovery!!!! I'm sure you look GREAT!!! So there was an anesthesiologist there? I was thinking just the doctor, surg tech and a nurse would be in surgery room.

No, she was the 1st person I meet the day of my surgery. She assist with my stockings, she put my IJ in my neck & start fluids & meds.
