The pics are from 8 weeks. Everything looks better by the hour. I had a follow up appointment today and the PS said that the BB should go in if not it’s a minor correction at the office. We will see in 2 months. I’m not sure I want anything else done!

you look great...I am also looking a getting a mini done. I’ve had 4 kid and my abs are separated. I guess the only way to fix it is to have a mini. worried I’m going to make it worse with surgery. I’m training for a Triathlon this summer and hoping my recovery won’t take long. Also I’ve noticed your abs seem to be starting to show. have you seen an improvement? thanks for posting your experience...makes me feel like I have hope as well

hi there!!!! I feel great. when is your surgery scheduled for? if you are having muscle repair (which seems like you are) I would plan for at least six weeks down since you want to make sure the muscle is fully healed to avoid stitches been torn. I feel great, less swollen every day. still using my binder or garment around the clock. it helps with posture and swelling at the end of the day. I am planning to start working out on 1/7 which will be after 7 weeks for me. i am really happy with my results and I know it can only get better when I go back to yoga and the gym. good luck

hi...oh so happy for you and I’m sure it will feel great to go back to the gym. my appointment is scheduled for Jan. 30th and yes I am getting my muscle repaired (the was the only reason) with Mini. I just can’t get my abs to look good. thanks for letting me about the six weeks. I’m a huge planner and it’s good to know that I will just have that time off (maybe just walks) and I definitely want to heal correctly. I also do plan on wearing my binder as much as I can. I know it’s easy to say you will wear it all the time when I haven’t even started.

hey! did you get a full muscle repair? I go for a mini and lower muscle repair, January 16. but I have my pre op tomorrow and I’m wondering if he shouldn’t do the upper muscle repair somehow. I’ve seen women bulge up top from not fixing those muscles and I mean if they are separated why wouldn’t they fix it? hmmmm
January 2, 2018
hi! yes I got a full muscle repair he said it was a pain in the butt with a mini but I didn’t want to risk the bulging either. I looks great so far. I’ll start exercising tomorrow and I’ll start with cardio and weights. I’m 7 weeks now so everything should be healed. good luck!!!!!

hey thanks for responding you look great. did he do a floating umbilical technique? or how did he address the upper muscles during a mini?
January 2, 2018
no. he dissected all around the navel to get to the upper belly and plicate the muscle together. I am still swollen on the lower abdomen not too bad but I can see it but the change is so noticeable (in a good way) that I still cannot believe the results. I still wear the garment and I can tell how it goes down every day. I will post pictures next week again at the 8 weeks mark.

No more bruising but still a lot of swelling specially around the incision. Still wearing my binder religiously to the point that when I don’t have it (to shower or massage) I feel weird. Some pics too!
