Mini face and neck lift

I am only in my early 40s but already felt my face already looked jowly and the skin on my neck was becoming loose. One side of my face was worse than the other making my chin look crooked and my chin had some fat. I visited Dr. Athre to talk about what I could do to fix the problems. I had seen pictures on his website at was astounded at how young and wonderful some of his past patient looked, so I was very excited. After discussing what I felt the problems were, we decided on a mini facelift with some lipo and lifting of the neck area. I found Dr athre to be arrogant and his bedside manner to be horrible. The surgery was painful and I began to cry at which point he snapped at me and said if I didn’t stop he would not finish the surgery. Afterwards I bruised rather badly for about two weeks, but I expected that and wore a scarf to hide it. I returned to get my stitches and staples out, as well as the drain. My chin had a large scar from the cut for the lipo. I was told this and the scars behind my ears would heal soon and to massage it, and to massage my chin to make it tighter. It has now been seven months and I still have a large lump behind my ear from the drain, and a noticeable scar on my chin. I am VERY disappointed with the results. Where before people guessed my age at mid to late 30s, I now have people guess my age to be around 50. My friends and family have said I honestly look worse, more jowly than before, older, plus I have a large divot in my chin from the lipo scar. The left side of my face looks much worse than my right as far as the jowls and sagging which makes my face look completely out of proportion. Under my chin is baggy from the lipo and my neck is looser and which makes my face and neck shirt and heavy. I want to cry every time I look in the mirror and I don’t have the funds nor the time to have it redone. My job is one where the way I look is important, otherwise I would have waited till I was 50 to have it done, rather than look like I am already am in my 50s. Based on my results and the rudeness of this doctor, there is no way I would ever refer anyone to him. As others have mentioned it is pointless to complain or ask for it to be redone, you will be ridiculed and blamed that it must be your fault, you didn’t follow the directions. That is simply not the case, I didn’t spend the money to not take care of myself the best I could.
