POSTED UNDER Mini Facelift Reviews

I’m 63 and ready to get rid of my jowls and saggy neck!

UPDATED FROM battsl

4 week Post Op

WORTH IT$6,901
Its been four weeks since my surgery. I’m slowly healing but starting to feel normal, less tender not so numb. I’m not to happy with the scar under my chin, and Dr. Harley is aware of my concerns. I will keep him updated and hopefully with his help it will be resolved within time. I have to remind myself its only been four weeks. Posting new pictures as I continue to heal.

Wow! Such a great result. The before and afters are such a difference! I think your jawline now even better than your 35 year old! You and Buddy both look great.
Hi frred thank you, I think so too. I’m posting a before picture as a reminder, otherwise I would start wondering if I had enough done, and I did! I am happy with my results just patiently waiting to completely heal. Buddy is my little old man... he’s a sweet boy.
WoW, Gurrrrrl!! You da bomb!! Abolutely FANTASTIC!
Hi patkat77, “The bomb” LOL... that’s ok, I’ll take it! Thank you for the compliment you’re so sweet!
The difference between your before and after pics...amazing! You look years younger, just beautiful. Your guy Buddy is a handsome boy! :)
Hi lynn1211, Thank you, I feel younger! It’s amazing how a little mini lift can make you feel about your self. It’s great for your self a-steam.
Lovely natural result!
Thank you Lisa507!
You look great. Couple of surgeons told me that a mini facelift will not do any good for my age when I was in my late 40s. Few years later, I am still not ready for a full facelift. Seeing your wonderful results, I am considering mini again. Are you still happy with your results? Your last post is from few months ago
Hi knothole, You probably don’t have enough saggy skin for a mini-lift, I would say that’s a good thing!
Knothole, I just realized that part of my answer was left out. Yes I’m very happy with my results! Thank you for asking.

Two weeks post opt.

14 days out since my surgery. I’m still sleeping upright and every day feels better. Still a bit bruised under my chin but my sutures are healing well. The back of my left ear is more sensitive than the other, and my right cheek is more swollen than the left not sure if that’s normal but I know healing takes time. I’ve been resting and trying to eat healthy, still taking Arnica and Bromelain along with fresh blueberries & pineapple. So far still good and I’m very happy!

You really look great! Can you tell me the approximate cost of the mini facelift.
Hi treeseelee1, Thank you! But from what I’ve read the prices have gone up since my surgery. Here’s his website click and scroll down for the up to date cost. https://www.harleymd.com/mini-lift.shtml I hope this helps you.
You're looking fabulous. Thanks so much for sharing your photos and experience. I look forward to seeing updates as you heal. All the best!
Hi Lisa507, you’re so sweet thank you for your positive comment. My sutures are healing great. I plan on posting pictures next week, it will be my 1st month Post Op. Thanks again
Can you tell me what type of anesthesia you had? Thank you
Hi eindhoven3, I was given enough oral sedatives so that I slept threw the whole procedure. I wouldn’t of had it any other way. Didn’t feel a thing.
Wow, you look great, younger and refreshed! Looks like you are healing well, incisions look fantastic. I don't know about you, but I was not looking forward to sleeping upright, however at almost 2 years post procedure I still do it at as it really does help minimize facial swelling/puffiness...love my wedge pillow! :)
Hi lynn1211, Thank you! Yes my incisions are healing well. I still have some numbness around the ears and under my chin, also my right cheek is still a little swollen. I hope it goes down soon. No, I wasn’t looking forward to sleeping upright either but I am. I just find the wedge pillow uncomfortable. Still wrestling with pillows. It’s amazing how a little lift can change how you feel about yourself. I’m feeling very happy and grateful! I’ll be posting more pictures next week for my first month post op.
Looking forward to your pictures next week!

There they are, see the newest photos. Really nice!!!
Thanks, I’ve definitely been feeling different parts of my face react differently. Other than that Just feeling tired.
How long did it take for you to feel normal? Skin is still tight.
It takes some time for numbness and swelling and tight spots. It sort of shifted around as I was healing. At least several weeks to several months. Probably in a few more weeks you won’t be noticing as much as now.
