Month 1 update

My stitches were roved on the first week and the scars seem to be healing well! Even friends that know about them can’t seem to find them easily, which is reassuring~
The big bruise on one side of my face has almost disappeared (finally) and my face seems to be settling well into the healing process! The doctor confirmed that as well during my visit, and answered all the questions I had~ Can’t wait to see more final results in a couple of months!

Great Experience For my First Surgery!

After years of struggling with my face shape and genetic jowls, I decided to get a mini facelift in Korea. After visiting many clinics for consultations, I opted to go with Girin after a friend that got some skin procedures there suggested I visit them, and had an amazing experience!

Staff was very accommodating and thankfully they have kind and professional translators too (English, I heard some Japanese and Thai too, probably Chinese as well)!
After a consultation I met with the doctor and he was very realistic about my results, which I appreciate a lot. I am quite young for a full face lift, and honestly the only thing that had bothered me since I was in my 20s were my jowls, so the mini facelift was the best option. The doctor also managed to make me feel comfortable with my decision and I’m very glad no one tried to push more extreme procedures on me, which is quite rare in these clinics nowadays and made me want to take the final step and proceed with the surgery~

The idea of getting a surgery and going under anesthesia kinda scared me, but thankfully they had a thorough meeting with the anesthesiologist where they did all the tests and questions to make sure everything would be safe! Right before going for the surgery I even noticed a plate on the wall that stated they are “Officially Designated as a Safe Hospital” which was definitely encouraging!
I had very minimal pain and the medication helped with any pain that might have happened.

Overall a great experience, definitely recommend to anyone that is considering procedures in Seoul and want professional staff and natural results!
