Dr. Roy is the Guy for Natural Results Under Local

I recently had a mini lower facelift and fat transfer with Dr. Roy. He is super skilled and unwavering in his dedication to a natural result, which made him the right choice for me. I'm 3.5 weeks post so my results aren't final yet but I'm very happy so far. I had some very specific concerns related to some pronounced fat loss and extreme under chin/neck laxity due to some ill-advised aggressive radio frequency about 5 years ago (do not heat up your face if you are thin!). It was really affecting me and aging me at least an extra decade. Dr. Roy will not hype you up, give you a hard sell, or over promise. He made sure I had realistic expectations given the qualities of my skin and anatomy. I also had a strict and narrow set of parameters for quick recovery and minimal risk. Dr. Roy is able to do this type of procedure under local so it uniquely met my needs. At the same time, I was super scared of being 'awake' but with the meds and everything I was very relaxed and never uncomfortable, even with the fat transfer added in. By day 6 I was pretty much presentable in public and to my family and by day 9 I saw friends who just said my hair looked great. Since then I've seen a million friends and such and I know it's a cliche but truly no one has said a thing. My friends who know say they would never in a million years think I had anything done. My husband says I look a lot younger but also exactly like myself, which we're all very happy and relieved about. Also worth noting- I was terrified of the incisions and the potential for scarring. While I'm not all the way healed and the incisions certainly evolve and change, Dr. Roy's skill in stitching is incredible. My family didn't even know I had stitches on days 6-7 when they saw me. Even by 2 weeks they were almost invisible in front. Overall, I'm super happy with my choice and so grateful that Dr. Roy was able to achieve such a great correction with so little downtime. After the radio frequency, I tried everything non-surgical under the sun (lasers, micro needling, 5 rounds of Renuva, regular fillers all over, etc) and was spending 6-8k each year with not much effect. In the end, lifts are pretty major, but maybe not as major as you might think, and for some concerns they are the only real option for correction. So thankful for Dr. Roy's skill and approach.
