Mini facelift results unfavorable, I ended up with the wind blown look

Mini Face Lift Experience
Not the best experience for me His bedside manner was great at first. My neck lift was fine. The mini facelift results were altogether unfavorable . I ended up with the wind blown look. It was very obvious to my family members. It was quite embarrassing as I attended my only son’s wedding a year later. He asked me the moment he saw me at the airport what work I had done. And why? “It looked weird” . He is honest..
Dr Athre spent many months post surgery trying to address the substantial scarring and inflammation behind my ears. I believe, but cannot verify, this was due to the type of suture. My husband did tell him I was was allergic to a certain (thicker) suture when I had breast implants but I failed to readdress my concern prior to surgery.
I believe he changed out the sutures lto start. Then steroid injections. I felt like the dreaded patient every time I walked in for a follow up. His manager barely looked at me or crossed words anymore unless absolutely necessary. It was not a good feeling or a very hospitable experience. At my post op revision the receptionist asked me to pay $1200 for the revision.
Dr Athre walked into the room where my husband and I were waiting for me to be called in. I will never forget this. He compared my situation to getting a dog with a rare disease and then changing that dog for a new one only to find it suffers same rare disease. I don’t appreciate riddles or being compared to a dog. When it comes my health or appearance phycsician.I expect unconditional respect and empathy especially when you're about to go under the knife once more! The receptionist walked to the room and said there would no longer be a charge. I don’t know what that was about.
After all was said and done, including some laser treatments behind the ear, which are 95healed and appreciate the free treatment.
However I’m not sure I can recommend this doctor for a facelift. Especially, “if you and stainless still don’t mix “‘ he said after he was done me.
One thing I did not do, is ask to look at his gallery. It was not shown to me, or offered to me when I went in for my consult that was on me. I should’ve asked there may be some ladies or men out there who have had good experience with this physician, but I felt I should share mine.
