20 years overdue for this tummy tuck. So glad I finally felt I was worth this. I will not miss the stretch marks, sagging skin and loose muscles. My preop is in 1 week and surgery is 5 days later.

Thanks to this site, I feel very prepared for what I can do to get ready for the surgery. Work however is NOT happy and will make this very difficult but I refuse to disclose this private matter to appease them .

Did you tell your work you are having a TT? I hope they are not being judgmental and are going to be jerks about giving you time off. :-(

Well I mean they won't let you leave unless someone picks you up and not a taxi...!!! I would hire a nurse for the first 24 I promise you you will need it!!! My surgery was a breeze pain wise but I still needed help to the bathroom for the first 24 you won't be able to get up without help!!

I dont know anyone outside of work here and once I recover from this and my lift (in the fall), I plan to move out of state. I have to pay for an overnight buddy.

Couch or bed?

Contemplated
So I am not going to have help after the first 24 hours so I want to be prepared. I am going to create a walkway of chairs to get to the bathroom so I have support and a seat if I can't make it. I hoped to be in my bed but if that doesn't work, I will need to use the couch. I will be in no position to change the walkway then. What do you think?

Who's driving you home from the surgical center they won't let you leave by yourself!!!

I will have someone around for the first 24 hours. He will be there in case of emergency. Just wanting to do as much as I can while I can.
