When I look in the mirror I am so happy with how my eyes look. The best is when I see myself in a picture now. They are bright and open and even!! Like 30+ years ago.
I do want to share something I read here on Real Self, that if you have skin removed from under your eyes, they will look different when you smile. That little pooch of skin under the eyes is gone, look at a childs eye, and you may have a few more lines, but, they disappear when you don't smile and, no more eye bags, yeah!!! All is hid when you smile really.
When I wear eye makeup you can see it now and when I put on mascara it doesn't hit my upper lids leaving marks there before it dries, because of droopy upper lids.
I was quite a site when the surgery was first done! Looked like a baseball bat had been taken to my face. But within a few weeks it was looking pretty good, not a lot of bruising even at first. The canthius tightening gave my one eye a very canted look at first and took about a month to settle in, but I didn't fret as I knew it would with time thanks again to Real Self. The eyelid that was tightened with a stitch really popped open at first as well and didn't close completely when sleeping but i wasn't worried. It has all worked out sooooo well.
Lifting the fat pads back up on the cheek bones gave my face more fullness and deffinition. Like I looked 20 years ago. Because this was done transconjuctival, I enjoyed some residual swelling for about 6 months under the eyes. I have lost a little of the fullness there, but, plan on having some fat grafted there and to my face in Jan to continue with the rejuvination process.
Dr Marcus anticipated everything and what it would take to get to where I was happy with the results. And, I am VERY happy.

At 61, both Upper and Lower lids had skin removed, the Canthius were tightened on both eyes, and the Soof lifted back up onto the cheek bones. An Extra stitch was taken in the left upper eyelid to correct a droopy eyelid. Any excess fat was redistributed. I am very happy with the revitalizations.
