Very Disappointed

Dr was very nice and caring before and during the surgery. When I brought up issues of concern he did attempt to fix but not adequately. He then told me I could come back in for him to try it again. At this point I refused because the experience of being awake during lipo is a bit traumatic and I didn't want to give him another opportunity to not do it correctly. I inquired about receiving some of my money back (to go to a better surgeon) as not only did he not complete the surgery properly, he included other procedures that weren't discussed in an attempt to remedy the situation, procedures that I did not agree to (and that did not help regardless). I spoke with his wife who runs the office and she made it very clear that I would not get anything back but I could come back for him to attempt to try it again, but I would be charged.

Feeling pretty good (day after)

I was up at 3am last night and wrote a long post that disappeared when I went to add pics to it. So here it goes again. The procedure started late (about 4:30) due to the Dr having an emergency at the ER. They called and asked if I could change it until Monday and I said no, so the Dr agreed to stay late and do the procedure. He decided to only do my arms and back. Hopefully I will get my stomach done tomorrow. When I arrived I was given one of each pill prescribed (vicodin, antibiotic, valium, and prednisone for swelling). I felt more calm but not at all tired or drugged up (which I was hoping for..lol). The Dr used a local anesthetic and then pumped my arm with the lidocaine solution, this was the most uncomfortable part. Not too painful, but weird. He then used a laser to eliminate the cellulite (celulaze). Then he used another laser to melt the fat and then sucked it all out. Didn't feel much, and when I did he stopped and added more lidocaine. The slight pokes of pain were bearable. He moved on to the other arm and then had me lay on my sides to do my back. The back was more uncomfortable but still bearable. The Dr was attentive and pleasant throughout. I have to say, I'm glad I didn't listen to the negative reviews about him cause he was great. When he was done he stiched my incisions with disolvable stiches to minimize chances of scarring and so that I didn't leak fluids (said body would take care of that on its own). The assistant cleaned me up, took after pics and helped me get into my garment. It was after 9pm by the time I left, and the Dr even walked my friend and I outside to the car. I felt really good, and when I got home I picked up my house before going to bed. The garment they gave me is very comfortable. I will post pics. I can already see a difference in my arms although they are swollen. I woke up this morning sore, like a bad sunburn, but the beds help. Gonna take the garment completely off for a shower tonight.

Procedure day!

So my procedure is in just a few hours and my nerves are going crazy. Can't wait for it to be over with! Posting some before pics now!
