I have not yet had the procedure. I'm scheduled for June 3rd 2015. Im getting upper and lower abs, bra roll, and arms. I've had the consultation and the Dr was attentive and informative, answering all of my questions. I filled the prescriptions for the day of surgery and I'm extremely nervous! The Dr told me that there would not be too much bruising or swelling, but seeing others results, I'm not sure how true that is.

Procedure in 8 days and can't stop doing research!!! I continue to be nervous about feeling pain during the procedure, and on top of that, I'm now nervous about lidocaine overdose...ugh! I decided to do smartlipo because it eliminates the risks associated with being put to sleep. Now I've discovered that too much lidocaine can cause the same risks...I really need to stop looking things up (it's so hard not to). Hopefully the Dr will put me at ease when I ask questions the day of. Also thinking about what I'm gonna do for the 4 hour procedure...Hoping I fall asleep :-/

Same here! My procedure is tomorrow at 2:30. I was up all night looking at pics. I went with smartlipo triplex. It's different from smart lipo mpx, because there is a 3rd laser that tightens the skin, since I kind of have an issue with skin already. Wish you the best of luck!

So my procedure is in just a few hours and my nerves are going crazy. Can't wait for it to be over with! Posting some before pics now!

It went well. I feel ok...feels like I have a really bad sunburn.. The meds help :-)

Hope your procedure went well!
Keep us posted! The swelling seems to vary from person to person but I agree that it seems like it is more of an issue than we are led to believe. I hope you post some before pics while you wait for your surgery day :)
