How it works
- Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
- This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
- Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
- Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

I don’t like leaving bad reviews, but I feel compelled to leave an honest one about my experience. I went to this medical spa three times, hoping to address very minor skin concerns, and unfortunately, I walked away feeling disappointed, confused, and ultimately taken advantage of.
During my first visit, I had scheduled a HydraFacial and a skin consultation. I was informed at check-in that the aesthetician was running behind, which I appreciated the honesty, and I waited patiently for over 25 minutes. However, the actual facial lasted less than the time I had waited. It felt rushed and underwhelming. I left with a strange feeling, especially after being repeatedly pushed to purchase products, despite clearly stating that I already had a skincare routine I liked.
After my skin consult I still decided to schedule microneedling with PRP, something I had wanted to do since 2020. The aesthetician seemed knowledgeable at first, and I had done a lot of my own research beforehand. However, at checkout, I overheard another staff member congratulating her on booking me for an expensive treatment. It felt weirdly transactional, like I was just a dollar sign, not a person.
I contacted them 3 days before my appointment because I had concerns regarding a breakout following my facial. Which I was told is normal and my skin “purging”. I told them the breakout was cleaning but I had concerns about spreading the bacteria during micro needling. They told me to come in anyways and we would talk then.
Before my first microneedling session, I received a text less than an hour before my appointment asking me to come in 10 minutes early. I rushed in, expecting time to go over more details as I had been promised, but the session felt rushed and disorganized (they forgot to do a scan of my skin amongst other things). The aesthetician told me that she microneedles over acne all the time and there’s nothing to be concerned about, ok I trusted her. Looking back, there were a lot of red flags and I really regret not standing up for myself. Important information like stopping supplements such as fish oil was never mentioned, and only something I knew because of my own research. When I asked detailed questions about the procedure and healing, I was met with eye rolls and dismissiveness. I genuinely was curious and felt I had valid concerns.
During my first consult the aesthetician had enthusiastically told me that microneedling would help with my concerns… acne and pore size. After the treatment, I didn’t experience any of the normal side effects like flaking, which I was told to expect. I brought this up at my next appointment, and she didn’t seem to have any real answers, which left me wondering whether the treatment was even done properly. She assured me it was and micro needling takes time to see effects. I wanted to follow through with her recommendations, i guess because I viewed her as the professional and deep down wanted to trust her guidance.
At the end of my second microneedling session, she asked me when I wanted to book my next one? which confused me, since she had previously told me that at my age (20s), one treatment per decade was sufficient. I also shared that I hadn’t seen any improvement, in fact, some areas where I had acne had worsened, and my pigmentation seemed more uneven. That’s when she suddenly said microneedling doesn’t actually address acne or pore size, completely contradicting what she told me in our initial consults.
Overall, my experience left me feeling misled, dismissed, and dehumanized. My skin is significantly worse than before I had any treatments done - every time I look at it now it leaves me feeling so upset that I didn’t listen to my gut feelings throughout this process. It felt like I was just being upsold on treatments rather than being cared for as a patient. I truly hate leaving negative reviews, but I would not recommend this facility.
