Dr. Kagan delivered the results I wanted.

Ok I had my mommy makeover surgery three days ago at Jolie Plastic Surgery by Dr. Kagan. I had an extended tummy tuck, breast lift & Augmentation, and lipo of the flanks and back. I had a BMI of 33 so I am not a small girl.Overall I am please with the results and Dr. Kagan was great with me. However, Jolie leaves a lot to be desired in the communication department. The coordinator returned my emails about half the time leading up to the surgery and rarely answered my questions. The pre op appointment went well and everyone was friendly. I was told to be there by 1030am the next day for surgery. Jolie called me at 9am to see if I could come in early. I sat in a paper gown in a freezing room from 10am until they came to get me for surgery at 5pm!! in the mean time my husband was freaking out because they would not even tell him my surgery had been postponed to later in the day. I finished up my surgery and recovery time at 10pm that night. Needless to say I was never informed my surgery was being pushed back to the last one of the day. Day 1 post op was horrible, I am not going to lie, I thought I was dying, I had chills, sweats, and nausea unlike anything I have ever gone through before. At my post op appointment they told me I was fine and to give it a few day that the first 3 days were the worst. So far that is holding true as I am feeling better everyday. I can see the changes in my body and I am excited to see the final results in a few months. I have to return to Miami in 2 weeks to have my drain tubes removed which no mentioned before surgery, as I was told that Dr. Kagan did not use drain tubes. Over all I would say that the procedure was worth it but the recovery is long and painful. I was given 3 days worth of pain meds and anti nausea and a weeks worth of antibiotics. Everything seems to be going well so far but do not plan to do anything for a while after this surgery because the down time is significant. I rented a local airbnb to stay in with my family while in town and I feel that it meet our needs for our stay. I will post pics when I can.
