Hello a Realself!!!! Finally, after being a member for quite sometime I'm decided to share my journey. Going with Dr. Stephanie Stover for my MM and I'm extremely excited and nervous at the same time. I've heard nothing but great things about her:) Deposit paid ,date booked, now I'm just counting down.

I chose Dr.Stephanie Stover because she is double board certified in cosmetic surgery, plastic surgery and aesthetics; located in the United States, 26 years of experience, no known malpractice issues (I searched couldn't find a bad review about her). Affordable rates and my wonderful coordinator helped me seal the deal. I paid at the time they were asking $300 for a deposit. Now to my knowledge they are asking $1000 for deposits because they were experiencing a lot of cancellations. Even after I paid my deposit my coordinator still keeps in touch with me to see how I'm doing, and just to let me know she's available if I have any questions or concerns. Payment process is super easy also!!!! They just email me my invoice everytime payment is made.

Yes very true i checked also double board certification an yes same here 300 an 1000 deposit but never told me due to cancelations whos ur coordinator ? Mines anabel but she like ignores my questions an told her i wanted to speak to a dr to see what he/she can tell me an thats why im still hesitating about paying the deposit because i would def. Like dr stover to be my plastic surgeon .. are you paying in full or by care credit thou im really nervous an want to make the right decision.

I have the same dr also i paid 300 for the depoist on the special but they want 1000 for the date....I also hade anabel she is so terrible..she dont explain nothing...so i change to Mercedes. .She perfect...I advise you to change also

Maria karla is my coordinator .... I'm paying in full....and I think with any surgeon we all want the best but every outcome will be different for each individual. What I mean is , I've seen doctors up here do a great job on some and a not so great job on others for whatever reason. I just want an improvement of what I have now, no infections or other issues, no revisions and speedy recovery. I'm also very nervous. I see other doctors work and say to myself that maybe I shouldn't have paid my deposit so quick, but if that's the case I will be contemplating forever!!!! I have faith that I have chosen a great surgeon and everything else will fall into place. In a perfect world I would go to Dr. Jimerson Or Dr.Cortez but I don't have 15,000 +.....

My coordinator is Maria Karla and she was very helpful I ask her 1,000questions she always answer me back I pay my $300 deposit I got my invoice I have the clinic number n also her personal number she is helping me find a after care house for my recovery I am traveling from Milwaukee, Wisconsin I'm scare but excited that after 15yrs of this ugly stomach I'm dream it's almost coming true

Yeah she's great !!! I also have her personal number and whenever I have questions she answers them promptly. I'm also staying at a recovery house that she recommended. Traveling from NY. When are you scheduled for surgery Hun ?

Ok so I haven't share my experience I also had to give $300 and I had the same issues once I gave my deposit no one got to me or answer any of my questions. It was frustrating especially them not communicating. Dr. Stover is great but the office staff is horrible and very poor communication skills. Make sure u get everything in writing they like to give u prices over the phone then when u go in person it changes. Keep all your receipts. I had Chary from my understanding she is no longer there. Once I complained to Dr. Stover and she was very upset that the staff didn't give me correct information. Trust me she got on them. Dr. Stover was amazing communicating with me since I was coming from Orlando. Make sure you communicate to the Dr. Exactly what u want from day one so there is no misunderstanding .

Im still in question about dr stover or dr alvarez an my cordinator is anabel i keep telling her i want to speak to one of those 2 drs but she says they always busy an they usually call 1 wk before surgery an im going out of state an i really would like to talk to one of em how can i get a direct communitcation with them or wat can i do?

I understand .... in the begin it was great my coordinator towards the end started slacking off. I'm so glad that part is over and I'm loving my results!!!! Good luck to you on your journey

I'M also having my surgery done by Dr. Stover..... Yenia is my coordinator she was great until I paid my deposit after that she did't answer my emails anymore I can say she did supply me with her personal cell number. After reading you comments about Mercedes I contacted her and she was great with answering all my question ( so thanks ladies). Please keep posting because this helps!

February Seems So Far Away
Hello ladies!!!! It's been quite sometime since I made my first review. I should have proof read it before it was posted. Lmao!!!! I promise you I'm not a retard. To all the ladies that has had surgery I wish you nothing but healthy and happy recovery. For those who are waiting like my self , continue to gain knowledge from this site as we wait patiently on our day. For the last 3 weeks or so I've been working out 3-4 days a week just trying to prepare myself for surgery. I hear the recovery is better if you are active before surgery. Everyday I have doubts about doing the mommy make over. The devil starts playing with my mind and I think about never coming back home to my husband and son. I think about not healing properly and being worst off than I am now. Just all types of negative thoughts:( I know we all are taking a BIG risk and things happen and everyone reacts differently to going under the knife. I was traveling alone , but now I have expressed to my husband that I want him right by my side just incase. I'm praying everyday and every night that everything goes smoothly. I have told a few select friends about my plans for surgery. One was very supportive and the other was saying everything but what I wanted her to say. Smh!!! I learned that you can't tell everybody everything !!!! I understand her concern but this is what I want! I can't expect everyone to be like me. Sad but true. Do the recovery house allow you to bring a guest or should I get a hotel and hire a nurse? If anyone has traveled with their spouse or whom ever please tell me what's the best route to take in this situation? I really need that support from my husband, a familiar face will make things a whole lot better. I also need the necessary equipment needed to take care of me right out of surgery. Any way I felt the need to share a lil more about me since we all are sharing our journey. GN Ladies!!!! Gotta hit the gym early before work. PEACE & BLESSINGS
