Well its been a while since I have posted anything but here it goes. I was told in order to have my surgery I have to get my weight down to 195. Today I am down to 190!!!! Yaaay me! My idea weight is 150 so im not stopping but I feel so good about it. It hasn't been easy but, nothing that's worth doing ever is. Thanks for your support ladies. Until next time!

gotta get this weight down
Well beauties. I joined the gym and I am hard at it. My goal is to get down to atleast 170 prior to my surgery date which is April 27th. My husband is still hating the concept but I feel like I have to do this for me. Weight currently is 205 I have to be down to 195 for surgery. I can do this!!!!

Do it for you! Not for him your body not his. I think he's scared that's all. My bf never wanted me to get implants and now he touch them all the time.

You got this! My surgery is 5 weeks away. My husband is very supportive however. I told him that I want the old me back. No more kids for us and he has agreed to help me pay for it. :0) I was at 192lbs and now at 186. Want to be at 175 before surgery. I have a couple of friends that have had TT and they say it is sooo worth it. So, let hubby know that this is finally something for you! From what I hear - he will also love the results! :0)

I hope so! So far I've lost 4 pounds. I feel better. My aunt is having it done too! So I will have a partner! Maybe my husband will come around

husband does NOT want me to have my tumny tuck!!
How can I get headed to see that it is something that I want for myself without sounding selfish? I don't think it's selfish at all but he's more focused on the risks than the benefits. I miss my old body... I'm currently working out so I hope to lose atleast 30 pds before my procedure. I just don't want this to cause a problem in my marriage. He knows I'm very self-conscious about my body. Can anyone else relate and what did you do?

You're not being selfish at all and you should do this for yourself. This is a very common procedure. Yes there's risk associated with all sx. However, as long as you are medically cleared and you go to a board certified surgeon you'll be fine. Maybe your husband just needs to be more informed on the procedure and how common it is. Has he had an opportunity to talk to Dr. Alvarez, or a surgeon about the sx? Maybe that would make him feel more at ease. As far as the weight, girl you can do it, you have plenty of time!!!
