In the Healing Process- 2014 Definitely New Year -New Me! - Miami, FL

Wow it's my 4 day post op. I feel better than yesterday but wow does my lower back hurt from sitting in the recliner. Honestly my tail bone and back hurt more than my stomach. I sneezed twice today and thought I was going to pass out. Boy did it hurt. Anyway I haven't taken any pain meds since yesterday and finally went #2 in the bathroom. I had my first post op appointment yesterday and my drains will be removed Monday. I was told My incision is healing great. Thank God!! The first 3 days were definitely tough, I asked myself why had I put myself through this. I'm feeling way
more positive after the appointment. I can stand up a little more but not too much . That lower back pain is a killer. I'm definitely anxious to finally be somewhat healed so I can sleep a little better, not have so much back pain, and shower.
