Looking into Dominican Republic

Hey Guys, has anyone heard of any good doctors in DR? I heard the surgery s more affordable and I'm just looking into it as an option. Thoughts? Ideas? Advice?

Consultation is Tomorrow ... AHHHHH!
Okay so tonight I am running around like a chicken with my head cut off. I'm doing my hair and shaving. I am not quite sure why I'm going through all this trouble but I feel like i need to look my best. I feel like everything is finally becoming real. I hope that he is able to tell me that he can get rid of all this nasty hanging skin and give me my super tight concave flat tummy that i had when I was 20.... or something similar lol.

It went really well. Ended up coming t 7500 for everything. I am now trying to figure out when I want to get it done.

That is a great quote. I need to do my breast also but financially will have to do things in pieces.

The quote was for the tummy tuck and lipo to my thighs. I think I'm going to end up doing it later on in the year due to financial reasons. I want to pay cash and need to save up the remainder.

I consulted him about a boob lift. I am scared about putting in an implant and them not looking natural.

I did the care credit, it's easy payments every month. have you tried to apply?

Yep it's a no go. Gotta love identity theft. I had my info stolen in my early twenties and i'm still feeling the repercussions.

So I decided to not do my tatas..... main reason is because of money and secondary reason is because I'm worried about my body's reaction to an implant. I know sounds stupid but it's my reasoning. Maybe last minute i'll change my mind who knows.

Follow your instincts!! :) - I didn't want Boob Job at first, but now I'll do it! :) - Mine is really small, barely A cup!!!! looking at you pix, looks like you have nice boobs (with all the respect!) LOL

aww thanks :-) Yea they aren't super perky but they don't drop terribly. I have to go see some more doctors. I think I almost owe it to myself just to get more information to compare.

I want to do my tatas also but financially and I think physically it's too much at once. Tummy first and from there I'll see what else needs improvement. Did you decide on Dr Hochstein or will you still get another consultation.

I don't know yet. I'm thinking I'll do a consultation with someone else once I have the money together. Maybe I'll reconsult with him too.

Hi Everyone, I'm a mother of two beautiful girls...
Hi Everyone,
I'm a mother of two beautiful girls and have decided to do a tummy tuck. At my biggest pre-pregnancy I was 165 lbs. At my lightest pre-pregnancy I was 100 lbs. In 2012 I lost a good amount of weight and got down to 135. Then I found out I was pregnant with baby number two. Needless to say all the yoyo-ing in weight has left my stomach a hot mess. Right now I'm 145 and ideally I would like to be 115. I have noticed that the more weight I lose the more my belly hangs. This leads me to believe that no matter how low my weight gets, I will still have a saggy skin issue on my stomach. I'm super self conscience about my stomach and showing it to people. I am bravely going to post my before pictures on here in hopes that it will give me the confidence and guts to go ahead and get a tummy tuck. I have a consultation with Dr. Leonard Hochstein on the 8th. I am both excited and nervous about the procedure. I have a few friends that have done it and some look great and some have had scarring issues and "elephant or dog ears" (not completely sure of the name). I am looking at getting both a tummy tuck and some lipo on my stomach, flanks , and thighs. If you have had any of these procedures please feel free to leave me a comment and share your story with me.

I'm a mother of 2 also (4 1/2 and 15 months), and going to interview Dr. Hochstein on Jan 6th :) - I'll write my experience on my profile :) - Did you set up other app. also??

January 6, 2014
No so far only dr hochstein. I keep looking at other doctors but keep seeing inconsistent after pics. One doctor might have a patient that looks awesome and another that didn't look so great. So far Dr. Hochstein is the only doctor that 've seen who's afters are pretty consistent. Please let me know how your consult goes. I've been trying to make a list of what to ask and my mind keeps drawing a blank. Have you gone to other consults?

Looking forward to following your journey!

You can lose weight and get rid of your belly more but you won't lose the extra skin unless you have a TT.

January 6, 2014
That's what I figured :-( I honestly have come to the realization that a TT is my only option if I ever want to be able to wear jeans without looking like i have a butt on the front of my body. Not attractive at all.

I am the mother of two as well and after a huge weightloss I had a terrible apron of skin. I'm SO SO glad I had my tummy tuck. I'm only 6 weeks post op but I'm loving the results. I have one dog ear on one side which will be fixed with a minor revision but it's worth it like you wouldn't believe. The boost to my confidence just wouldn't have happened any other way. I love being able to wear right tops without feeling crappy about how I look :D

My husband keeps trying to convince me to not do it he's scared of complications.
