My whole life I wanted brachioplasty because I always hated my arms and after breastfeeding two kids I needed a lift and implants to fill them back out as well. I decided to do it together.
The whole reasons I am writing this review is because I am just so pleased with dr. Hochstein I felt it was the least I could do to write him a review (y'know besides the 13k I gave him).
I saw two doctors before him and the first on humiliated me while I was standing there half naked. The second dr - even though he had a nice office his operating room looked like it was just a small room in the back and it made me nervous. His bedside manor was not the best either.
When I saw dr hochstein, unlike the other to dr's, he didn't make me stand there for 15 mins naked while we talked about everything. He took a quick look and then let me finish our conversation after I got dressed and came into his office. This sounds silly but it's uncomfortable standing there naked in front of a dr and a nurse you never met for extended period of time especially when you are embarrassed about how you look. It just showed me he had a caring personality.
I saw him a few other times after that until the surgery and he always made me feel very comfortable and the surgery went just fine.
The other amazing thing was the after care. I felt nauseated and the office called in nausea medication for me immediately. Friday, after hours, i started reacting to the adhesive which was not a surprise to me as it happened begot but I was panicked because I was worried I wouldn't be able to get treated until Monday. My husband emailed the patient coordinator with a picture and left the dr a voicemail and within the hour she called my husband back. In that time she sent the dr the picture and he prescribed steroids and she called it into tha pharmacy for me.
I also asked to be squeezed for an earlier appointment (I felt better and stayed with my original at the end) and the patient coordinator did it no problem.
The after care here is just amazing and it means a lot when you just had surgery and are scared.
