A few years ago I didn't even know what a tummy tuck is and two months ago I was reading liposuction and tummy tuck stories to figure out whether I should have something done or not. I had layers and layers of fat and bending down they looked gross..I know I'm a bit young for it (I'm not 30 yet) but wjhatever I do I can't get rid of this fat belly. I talked with Dr. Sayed, found him through a college friend, and I got even more determined to have the tummy tuck. The worst part of it was the lack of sleep from day 1, the dizziness from the anesthesia and the excruciating pain from day 2 and 3. Bruising was severe but I can't complain if I think about the volume of fat that escaped my system. Like I said, I had this surgery two months ago and even though I don't look as big and swollen as I looked before, there is still some swelling present and I'm still bruised. The incision healed nicely, I had no problems after I had the drains removed. The scar isn't above my bikini, so I can cover it without much effort. I emphasized the fact that I wanted the smallest scar possible. I'm pissed off I can't eat what I want because I'm a heavy eater and I don't accumulate fat on the rest of my body but I don't want this surgery to be in vain so I'm currently dieting..oh god..this is worse than having a tummy tuck

I'm glad to hear your recovery is going well. As for the diet ... U need to switch gears to lifestyle and not diet. Eat smaller meals with snacks between and your heaviest meal in the morning. Opt for your lunch to be heavier than your supper also. You will burn it off faster. Too few cals will not work either. Your body will adjust to the low cals and then when u have a bad week it will get stored as fat. Post some pics if you can :) Lisa
