I had always liked my nose, aside from my small bump, but this was never a real issue. It was beautiful. However, I broke my nose in sports; it caused the septum to deviate, as well as the cartilage to collapse on one side. Not only did this make my nose appear crooked, but my ability to breathe was horrible! I was afraid to get something done about it because I know many people are dissatisfied with their rhinoplasty and end up needing more work. The possibility of being able to breathe was my main motivator. I also wanted my nose to look the way it used to though and knew I could get the bump and anything else tweaked while the doctor was fixing the breathing. I'm a couple of weeks post-op now, and the results are spectacular. Despite all the swelling I still have inside and outside my nose, I can breathe better than I could before surgery! And my nose is straightened and beautiful again.

Hi, Are you still happy with your results? I have exhausted my options in Atlanta and I am considering Dr. Epstein.

Hi Racheal, I am not super happy with my results, but there is an improvement in my nose in general. He fixed the collapse on one side, but then the other side collapsed. I had asked him to put a graft in both sides so that something like this would not happen, but during surgery, he decided not to, thinking that it made my nose look too fat. Well, now I'm having difficulty breathing out of one side of my nose, and asthaetically, it looks better but not great, in my opinion. He said he is going to put a graft in for me in a second surgery, but we shall see.

I went to Dr. Epstein as well and I was not happy with my results. He solely worked on one side of my nose and after healing a bulbose and it is asymmetric. I wrote an honest review on realself abgout how I felt and upon reading it Dr. Epstein wrote me an email stating he no longer want to see me as a patient , to fix my nose. I spent over 13k on him and because of a negative comment he wrote me off as a patient. That doesn't say much. He said for me to go somewhere else. As if I can afford another surgeon. He's not perfect he can make mistakes but he's definitely not open to it. Feeling very depressed. So beware, do not write anything negative about his results becaue he will make you disappear.

OMG the same thing with me. How can a surgeon only work on one side. He did the same thing to me. I say he's lazy.
