When I went to my 6 week appointment Dr. Salama said he will do a revision for free on my tummy tuck because the results are horrible. Now I am 6 months post opp and he says I have to pay 3000! I wish I would of had him put it in writing when he first told me that I wouldn't have to pay for it. I can't believe he is charging me to fix my stomach when it's his fault that it looks that way. I'm so disappointed I wish I never got a tummy tuck. I can't wear dresses, one piece swimsuits, body suits, without my stomach area looking deformed. Also, I got a burn on my stomach from my belt. I still don't have feeling in parts of my stomach so I didn't feel it happening. I wear my belt tight to try and even out my stomach so the bulge isn't so noticeable.

R u sure that 3000 is his fee and not the fee for the Or and anesthesia

Yes it's his fee. Originally he said I wouldn't have to pay anything.

Oh wow! I'm so sorry friend. I knew you wanted a TT when we got our BBL. I must say I agree with your first post, I would not have gone back to vanity either. But they are closed now for some reason. I love my results but I won't go to another PS in Miami at all. They all are money hungry. Once you get off that table.. it's a wrap! They don't care if it's something they did or not. They're all con artist. I had an appointment with Ortega for march 8th of this year paid a $500 deposit, then something happened with one of his patients, not sure if she died but was definitely in a coma and I tried to cancel, get my money back. They said no. But I could use it for up to a year towards any service. In July I wanted thigh lipo. I called to schedule they said they had no record of my deposit. I faxed receipt my my CC. They still haven't replied or contacted me. I'm sorry you're going thru this. Keep us posted. I'll keep you in my prayers.

I followed your bbl journey in 2015, loved your results! I am sad about your tummy tuck results....how dare he charge $3,000 for a revision!!!! This is some BS!!!! I hope this works out in your favor. #allaboutme2015

Typically with revisions the patient only has to cover the cost of the hospital.

Has anyone else experience loss of feeling after tummy tuck? How long did it last?

Loss of feeling is one of the side effects of a tummy tuck. Some people regain feeling almost everywhere but others do not. You may have some areas that never regain feeling again. Takes about 6months to really know if you'll regain feeling again.

I got ac tummy tuck back in 2010 and I'm still numb where my belly botton is. I won't let anybody touch me there it makes me feel weird

Same here.....year and some change, no feeling right below belly button where skin was pulled tightly.

I'm embarrassed to post this picture but this site is suppose to show everyone the REAL deal. I'm so unhappy with my results. About a month after surgery one side of my stomach started looking crazy and my incision was suddenly crooked. I went back to Florida for my 6 weeks appointment and showed Dr. Salama my results. He said I will have to get a revision if it doesn't resolve on its own. As of today it's been 4 months. I also have dark spots on my stomach that appeared after surgery as well and has not went away. This procedure was a waist of my time and money.

hi,Thank you for sharing your journey. Did Dr. Salama indicate what it was the is causing the bulge? Did he tell you to wait for the 6 month mark for a revision? Is the bulge hard?

Your welcome. He doesn't know why it happened. It's not hard it feels like fat. I'm waiting on a reply from him regarding a date for the revision.

I was going to say, that it looks like a "fat" knot, like you get from liposuction when you dont massage them out. It could be that, it might not go away with massage; but you could try massage that has vibration use that every day and see if it helps it go down.
