27 Yr Old Fit Mom with 2 Kiddos - Houston,Tx

Ok, so Im super nervous about doing this but i guess i owe it to Realself since I have been stalking the site for month's now. I'm 11 days from my procedure and I'm super nervous, I've been wanting to do this for so long and just feel normal again. I love my little ones, 10 and 6, but also did breast feed then had to have hernia repair after giving birth and now I have ugly tummy syndrome.Im getting aTT, Breast Lift with Silicone Implants, and a new belly butt, yayyy(that's what i'm most excited for). I'm a fitness trainer and I feel certain parts of my body don't display what I help other's achieve simply because I can't fix gravity or loose skin. My current weight: 143lbs, 5ft5in, waist:29in, cup size 34 loose C...blah. I'm scheduled with Dr. Sergio Alvarez. My spouse will be traveling with me on this journey and just wants me to be happy.

7 days Pre op

Sorry dolls,I'm 7 days pre-op. I'm so nervous and excited at the same time. I think more scared of the the discomfort and not being overall in control of that aspect, I'm getting everything arranged at home for the little ones since it is still school time. I really do appreciate this site and all the dolls that have posted their experiences, it has been a helping hand in letting me be able to discuss different situations. I get strange looks from the people I talk to about ps and my true supporter is only my spouse since he just wants me to be happy and to also stop talking about it 24/7 and me being emotional about what I can't fix. I'm not to great with having any wish pics

Flooding in the city

So, I hope the weather starts to get better. All this flood is getting pretty bad out here. I just hope to stay safe and be able to still make my big day

Labwork, yay!!!!

Ok, so labwork is back!!! Everything seems great as far as I can see just waiting on office for ok.

Less than 36 hours

So I have less than 36 hours to go. My flight is in the Am then I'll be in Miami, I'm super anxious and just want everything to go great by the grace and mercy of the Lord. I have all my gear ready to go and oh, my spouse to he's ready. He's just being super understand with all my mixed feels and all the boobs and tummies I keep showing him at all hours of the day. I haven't been able to sleep for the past 3 days, I guess it's just my nerves getting the best of me. Please send prayer up for me dolls. See you on the flat and boob side..lol

I'm in Miami

So, we made it safely despite stress of the flight and crying children. It seems like im a magnet fir getting a little kid that sits behind me and decides my seat is for them to kick even in 1St class, smh. Went to Imagenes once we were checked in at our place and filled out tons and tons of paperwork and paid balance, surgery is scheduled for 0730. Can't sleep still and I know I need to. I'm driving my spouse crazy with all my anxiety and over thinking and he's trying his best to be my support and reassuring me that everything is going to go great.I'm going to post more dreaded pre op pics, it hurts to take these.

Ready for a new beginning

So I made it to the other side....

I made it. Wasn't to bad getting started this morning everyone has been so nice and I did feel like a number. The pain was more than I expected but I found out that it's by drain. Otherwise I'm on pain meds and antibiotics. No pics yet

Officially day 1 post op

2 days post op

Rough day but my spouse got me through it. Just a little stiff when getting up and meds are keeping me quite drowsy. I'm eating well ( fruit and protein) drinking plenty of water

2 days post op

So I started with some lymphatic massage therapy for the first time on post op day 2 days. Seems to be helping I'm getting around alot better and walking, I'm eating plenty of fruit and protein plus never can forget all natural water. My spouse is still helping lift me up and some with no complaints, I couldn't ask for a better person to be here with me. Im only taking Tylenol pretty much and antibiotics especially since prescribed meds just make me sleep. I'm able to stand alot better pretty staight. Yaaayyy!!

What was done - late post

Oh by the way, I got 400cc Natrelle Allergen Silicone HP style 20 with lift and TT

Bad news

So, I have some bad news on Monday at my follow up. I was going to have to get sedated again because Dr. Alvarez believed that the suture I had on my muscle was causing some issues, it had been pretty painful poking me underneath my skin and would hurt whenever I moved. I'm just happy he is was understanding and not think It was just normal by brushing it off. So he's going to go back in before I'm fully healed.

Doing alot better

So after my last post he did put me under general anesthesia to make sure of issue. Lucky enough it ended up being just an issue with my drain and removed it leaving me wit just one. I'm completely fine with that since they get in the way and look weird under my clothes. I've been pretty much walking up right since day 5 just had to make my self and do stretches to help. New girls are still sitting high but I notice some drop my incisions are have been pretty much healed on the outside since day 8 , I just have the drain that he wanted me to wait 2 weeks to remove.

Delay in pic post

So my days are a little off. Sorry about that. The swelling was real at this point but I was feeling alot better after he removed the drain that was causing issues

So I started back at work...

So I started back at work and boy was it a rough time especially since I got MR and my new girls. I work in an ER and very fast paced not to mention 12hr shift, I was going back on light limited duty. Now that may seem easy enough but not especially if things start to hit the fan, by the time I arrived home I was in pretty bad pain and sore. I had been trying to only take ex- strength tylenol but that didn't cut it and swelling got a little worse until it settled after being on my feet for so long. This made me realize maybe I need some more recop before jumping back in

15 days post op, yay!!!!

My swelling is down and my shape is returning. I'm so tired of feeling fat and bloated, blahh. I'm starting to love my results.

By the way

I went to Imagenes and my coordinator has been Annabelle, she has been great any issue I have or question I can just text her and she responds. She was great about explaining everything and what I was to expect when I arrived in Miami, Fl. Dr. Alvarez was great about explaining everything and making my husband and I feel comfortable. I loved and greatly appreciated when there was an issue after surgery how he responded and took the situation seriously, even though it meant that he had to go back in after just a 5 days. The whole surgery team and office staff made me feel welcomed and not like a number when ever I call the office they know me by name without me by name and what I was needing even though I went in for post op visits almost every other day before I left to be sure everything was going fine.

Drain removed... yayyyy!!!

So I removed my drain and it feels so much better wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Pics coming

Late drain pic

Had bit of fluid

So I went for my lymphatic massage today and I had some build up of fluid since pulling drain but not bad at all. I'm starting to wear different compression garment from one I got from surgery alot more snug. Hopefully, I can get a few massages in this week since I'll be heading out of town next week and won't be able to get any while I'm gone.

Fluid

So, I had a lymphatic massage today and I had some fluid build up since pulling drain but not bad. I'm feeling so much better without the awkwardness of the drain like a parasite. .lol. I'm going to go a few more times this week so I don't have any issues. I have to leave out of town next week for business and of course I won't be able to get them out there so hopefully this will be good. Happy healing to everyone! !!

Post op 22 days

Miami Beach Plastic Surgeon

Dr. Alvarez was great about explaining everything and making my husband and I feel comfortable. I loved and greatly appreciated when there was an issue after surgery how he responded and took the situation seriously, even though it meant that he had to go back in after just a 5 days. I didnt really get to talk to him prior to me arriving since he was out of town week before my procedure . I spoke/ texted alot with Annabelle, my coordinator, she has been great any issue I have or question I can just text her and she responds. The whole surgery team and office staff made me feel welcomed and not like a number when ever I call the office they know me by name without me by name and what I was needing even though I went in for post op visits almost every other day before I left to be sure everything was going fine. I went to Imagenes Plastic Surgery. Alot of staff does speak Spanish but they have some people to help translate.
