Hi Ladies,
All is going well with my MM. I am not completly happy as I thought I would be at this point. I have dog ears and marks that are dark around my tummy which is strange because I don't know how I ended up with them but Dr H said it could've been from the garments.
Well I went to my 6th month post-op on Feb 2nd and Dr H said everything was healed as expected but I did express to him that I wasn't happy with them dog ears which I had already told him at an appointment I had to make because I had a suture pop on my BB and I felt it was infected so they had me email a picture but if I felt more comfortable I could come in, so I did which was the next day. So he checked me out and said it was fine and nothing to worry about and that sometimes happens. So that day I told him why did I still look swollen at this point and he said I still had 2 more months to go and if wasn't better by then that my options where to extend the scar so he could pull more skin down or have to do lipo which of course lipo is my choice but I would need to pay just for anesthesia which would cost me $1,500.
So at my 6 month appt I said OK doc what are we going to do about these ( dog ears) and he said lipo so because I was going to go under again I asked if he did fat transfer and to my surprise he does! So he asked what areas would I want to transfer fat from so I said my inner thighs, back fat, arms and of course the extra skin from above my scar. His qoute was 3,800 which I didn't seem to find bad but I'm not sure because I didn't like his before and after pics of the fat transfer to the butt.
Well now I'm on a hunt for a butt surgeon but feel bad because I'm having to look for another surgeon to fix what I'm not happy with I also don't think Dr.H was to aggressive with the lipo he did on me because I have no shape. I will say I do love my boobies.
So yea I'm don't know what to do now, either go to Doc H or go else where... Ladies a little advise would help also I have included pics.

Drain still in and almost 4weeks
Hi there ladies!! Well I'm a bit annoyed because I'll be 4 weeks this Thursday and still have this damn drain in. It seemed like it wanted to slow down because yesterday it was around 35cc but today it end up at 50cc. I don't know if it could be because today was my first day back to work but that really sucked having to go to work with this drain still in not cool :( I have called several times to Dr. H's office just to be on the safe side and the girls just say give it a couple of more days that it sounds like I'm almost there but I'm concerned that I could end up catching an infection and when I stretch it feels like it's starting to reopen my cut around that area and I have yet to see Dr H since I had the pain pump removed which was 4 days post op which I think I should've already seen him by now but I'm just told once it's ready to be pulled because he won't pull it until it's ready to come out but I did send Christie pics thru email and she said I'm healing as expected but that was at 2 1/2 weeks but I guess it's just the waiting game for now. But geez makes me wonder what am I doing wrong I mean could it be because I was a little on the big side that my body isn't responding how it's supposed to I know everyone heals different but when you see that most ladies get it pulled like 12-14 days post op it makes me worry big time and it doesn't help when they tell you just let us know when it's below 25cc so you can come in and have it removed!! I'm also still swollen big time but having no pain which is good!
But on the bright side my boobs I have no issues with and still love them :) well I'll be calling the office tomorrow just to put me at ease and I'll try to post some pics tomorrow. Sorry ladies had to vent lol

It does seem like a really time to have a drain in. Hope you can get it out soon!
August 26, 2015
Yea it is :/ I can only try to think happy thoughts lol but thanks I hope it's real soon too like tomorrow :)

I agree with you. It seems that drain needs to be removed ASAP. I'd say that your under 25cc just to get an appt with your ps! I've seen my ps 3 times and today hits my 3 week mark. Of course, as you said everyones body is different and everyone heals at different paces. I to was on the heavy side and I don't think that's the problem girl. It's not like you were obese. I know that watching your sodium intake is a must. We're gonna get there. Slowly but surly we're getting there! Good luck on the drains!!

Also, are you getting in your protein? My ps told me I need to try & get 100 grams of protein, it's needed for the repair of your muscles. I don't get 100 grams, but I do drink shakes and eat Quest bars. I also take Emergen-C which has 1,000 mg of Vitamin C and my womens multi vitamins daily. I truly believe that Emergen-C has helped tremendously..

Hey! Thanks for the info I knew I needed protein but didn't know how much but I know I wasn't getting in that much but I will try my best now and sodium I try my best but it's hard so maybe that's where I'm messing up but I do take a daily women's vitamin so now that you told me about the emergen C I'll have to try that because something has to give and thanks :)

Hi. I would definetly call and make an appointment to see Dr H asap just to rase my mind. I am the opposite of you. I had my drain in for 2 weeks before it was removed but at the same time I had my drain in, I had a build up of fluid in my upper stomach that had to be aspirated. I am now 8 weeks post op and I still have to go see Dr. H for aspiration. Make an appointment to see him directly.

Hey! Yes I finally got a phone call Friday to come in and have it removed and boy was I happy....but he still wants to follow up with me since I was still going over the 25cc but I do notice when I push down around my abdomen area the other side seems to lift up some I'm wondering if that's excess fluid but I feel fine hopefully it's nothing and normal... I go back to see him on the 9th but thanks and happy healing :)

Day 11 update Mommy Makeover
Hey ladies...sorry it's has taken me a while to post but I was actually unsure about posting I guess I must be impatient and didn't expect all this swelling and bruising and so far don't like how my TUMMY looks...looks bad I know. Well I started feeling more like myself around day 8 I'm still sleeping on my recliner because I don't want to cause any damage to myself by trying to get out of bed and it's pretty comfortable lol. I also started applying Arnicare cream on day 8 didn't know I could've used it way sooner then that had emailed Christie asking her when I could I use both creams That I had bought the day of my surgery. Well I still have my drain in so hopefully sometime this week it stays at 25cc within a 24hr period so we can get this thing out! So The one thing I do love are my boobs and their healing and can't wait till they start to settle. Well ladies here are some pics on how my body looks on day 11: (

Girl, I totally feel you! I'm 6 days post op and I feel like a whale! My stomach is SO bloated! I knew about the swelling but I wasn't prepared for this amount! I can't fit into anything! Even my stretchy lounge shorts are skin tight! I 2 LOVE my boobs..sounds like we're in the same boat! IDK bout you, but the swelling is painful for me in one spot above my belly button. When I take off the binder it feels like I'm going to pass out and that one spot feels like its going to fall out! Its crazy!!! I read somewhere that you should stay away from a scale for the first 8wks. I'm going to try my best at doing that. I know that I'm carrying at least 10 lbs of fluid on me right now. Hell, my stomach is bigger right now than before I went into surgery. BUT, we are going to look SOOO freaking good in 2 mos, 3 mos, 4 mos and it'll just keep getting better. Things can only get better with everyday and everyweek. Just know your not alone in feeling the way you do. I'm feeling the same way. We need to be patient and I suck at being patient. You pics are great! Love your boobs! Hang in there girl, we got this. xoxo
August 11, 2015
Thanks so much!! Glad to hear I'm not alone it's just so annoying, I just wish we could come out looking like barbies ha kidding... But yes it does hurt me too and I do feel the same without the binder weird feeling. And as for weighing myself the day I hopped on the scale it didn't turn on and I was like really lol but yes we do got this and can't wait for our final results!! Again thanks for the encouragement!! :)
August 11, 2015
Be patient! You're going to look great! Everyone's body heals differently and you're really swollen. Give it a few more weeks and I'm sure everything will be settling down. Your boobies already look fantastic!
August 11, 2015
Thanks so much! I guess when you see everyone else healing faster you want to see results quick but yes I have 2 more weeks before heading back to work and I'm just taking it really easy at home because I do want great results:)

August 11, 2015
I'm sure your results will look amazing! Have patience & Trust Dr. H & his before/after pics. Wishing you a speedy recovery
August 11, 2015
Thanks! It's funny because before my husband headed back to work upstate I was complaining to him like why do I look like this and his response was like " I thought you trusted this Doctor" and I was like I do his work looks amazing and he says "all right then stop complaining" and boy did he shut me up with that lol maybe I'm just being paranoid and it's hard to have patience when you see other good looking TT after surgery... But I'll be patient and trust Dr. H and again Thanks for the encouragement :D
August 12, 2015
I'm glad I found your journey on here. My body type is very similar to yours. I'm 5'5" and weigh 193. I'm very interested in having a TT. I haven't even been to a consultation or anything. I'm nervous! So I will keep track of your progress in hopes that it encourages me to get mine done as soon as possible! Congrats on your makeover!
August 12, 2015
Oh wow, yes very similar! If it's something you truly want I really hope you just go for it! My body is still in the healing process and I know I still got a long way to go to see my final results but I love the fact that my belly pouch at the bottom is gone I always felt like I had a double belly and now that it's not there I love that! I have no regrets and when I went to my consultation and My PS told me he would remove 99% of my problem area I was all game and over excited and couldn't wait to book my surgery! Well hope you book some consultations so you can find the right PS for you! The pain and discomfort will be worth it! And really can't tell you I was nervous because it's something I truly wanted the nurse asked if I was nervous and I was like no and hopped on the operating table ready to go lol....it's a roller coaster of emotions but you will be fine!! Well glad to hear that I might help your decision a little bit easier! Good luck and Thanks! :)
