WORTH IT$24,000
I have no facial hair, period. And I always wanted to have a full beard, because it conveys confidence and masculinity. The procedure is priced based on the number of hair grafts that are needed, so it is not a random number. At $8 per graft, I needed around 3,000 grafts to have a full beard (side burns, mustache, goatee, and beard on the chin). The procedure was divided into two sessions. First I had 2,200 grafts done, and it created the overall shape of the whole beard. Ten months later (when the transplanted hairs were fully grown), I had a touch-up session of another 800 hair grafts to fill in any area that had a lower hair density. So the total price was around $24,000. It was a bit pricey for my income level, but the results looked great.
After my first session, I was worried because some transplanted hairs became infected and looked like acnes. I googled and realized it seemed to be a fairly common problem with hair transplants. Dr. Epstein assured me they would clear, and they did after a few months. I just had to be patient. The transplant sites also had some mild swelling that subsided after a few months.
Dr. Epstein is very knowledgeable and friendly. I think the key to a successful procedure is (1) a good doctor, and (2) clear and accurate communication of goals. I have always resorted to photos and sketches in my discussions with Dr. Epstein, and that worked very well.

Nice I had a procedure done by his predecessor Dr. Bared who was also very knowledgable! Although far less grafts than your and lower in price due to already have a strong goatee area I can't remember if I communicated well enough due to the pain meds hitting me like a train lol
