My name is Rebecca M. and after 2 years of toying with the idea of having a facelift I woke up one morning and decided that it was now or never. The next and probably most difficult step was to find a Plastic Surgeon that I could trust with my face. Being a resident of Fort Lauderdale I naturally researched Plastic surgeons in this area first. There were a few that I felt might be promising so I made appointments to have consultations.
Of the three surgeons that I interviewed and researched none specialized in facelifts most of their work were Breast Augmentations. Their websites boasted review after review of great work they had performed but unfortunately for me all the reviews were for breast implants. I asked each physician what they would recommend, one made a recommendation that I’m sure would have been disastrous, the second surgeon made no recommendation at all just told me not to base my decision on price (of course his was outrageous) and the third seemed promising but I still felt a little unsure.
I decided to search the internet one more time before plunging ahead with the third physician; that is when I came upon Dr. Anthony Bared’s name. I was a little put off by the distance from my home to his office but decided to meet with him anyway and am I happy that I did.
I first met with his assistant, Roxy, who was very knowledgeable about facelift surgery. She walked me through what she thought Dr. Bared might suggest and gave me some time to look through pictures of his work. Within ten minutes I met Dr. Bared. He was professional yet warm. His advice was very practical and he gave me an honest estimate of what I could expect from the surgery.
Suddenly the distance from my home to his office made no difference to me, I knew he was the physician to trust with my face. Not a decision that I made lightly but one I don’t regret.
Dr. Bared performed the surgery on March 2, 2016 and I could not be happier with the results. For the first time in years I can look in the mirror again without cringing, I had aged so fast and so badly over the years that I was ashamed to see my face, at 57 I looked 67. Dr. Bared changed that for me, he performed a face and neck lift as well as laser resurfacing. I am so happy with the results. My skin looks smooth and pretty again and I can smile now because Dr. Bared is an artist. ?
