I am a very young forty-something mother of two who had excess skin on her eyelids which created hooding and a tired look. I wanted to get an upper blepharoplasty (eye lift) but I was very hesitant since I was uncertain about the outcome. This ALL changed when I met Dr. Perez-Gurri. He made me feel comfortable since day one. He addressed all my fears and concerns. He exudes confidence and I could tell he loves what he does! I found the perfect surgeon! The surgery was performed in his state of the art surgical center with an excellent anesthesiologist. I did not feel any pain or discomfort. The recovery was the worst part since there was expected swelling and brusing which subsided after a couple of weeks. And the outcome? GORGEOUS. Just look at my before and after pictures.

When could you comfortably go out in public wo looking like you had surgery?
Honestly, I felt totally comfortable after four weeks. Prior to that I had to wear a lot of make up. They are some great concealers out there! Hope this helps.

Great results! Did you have dissolvable stitches for your incisions? Also, did he just cut excess skin or some fat/muscle as well.
Thank you. I didn't have dissolvable stitches, they were removed by the doctor seven days later. He removed excess skin and fat. Hope this helps,
Thank you for the response! I have interviewed two different PS in my city and one utilizes dissolvable while the other utilizes the other. I am curious if there is any correlation with better healing one way or another. All the best!
