Eyebrow Hair Transplant - Miami, FL

After researching for the best eyebrow hair transplant surgeon all over the US, I found Doctor Epstein on RealSelf He has excellent reviews and great before/after photos. I then decided to go with him for my eyebrow hair transplant procedure. I am extremely particular with my eyebrows and knew exactly what I wanted. I was looking for someone who not only be attentive to my wishes, but also talented and skilled to perform this delicate procedure requiring an aesthetic eye and great precision in execution. I booked my procedure and can honestly say I had a lot of fun that day. Fellow surgeons students were here that day to observe and learn about the eyebrow transplant procedure. I was pleased to have them there. The students and the staff made it so comfortable and pleasant for me. Everyone at the office was caring, nurturing, reassuring, very professional. I couldn't have felt more at home. Flying in from Hawaii I was delighted to see I was treated with such kindness and warmth.
I met with Doctor Epstein and Linda about an hour prior to the procedure, to discuss my eyebrows shape, thickness etc.. Doctor Epstein gave me the option to draw them in myself. So I did, since I am used to do that everyday, it is part of my make up routine. Doctor Epstein checked for symetry, alignmentt and such before moving forward to the procedure. We then went into removing my donor area hair, thanks to the local anesthesia on the scalp, it was quick and painless.
The actual transplant then started and it went very well. Linda and Cynthia were incredible. They were always checking on how I was feeling, making sure the procedure was going smoothly for me. They are both very talented at what they do. I absolutely loved the result right after the procedure although I had to look pass the swelling.
I had bruising around the eyes that took 1 week to dissipate, and swelling on the eyebrows for a day. I had no reaction to anesthesia or meds. My donor area scar did not hurt per-say, it felt sore, and I had no bleeding right after the procedure.
At Day10 after the procedure, I am seeing my grafts fall off little by little as I clean gently by taping on the eyebrows, every morning with water and moisturize them. Scabs fall off as well although still a lof of them are still there.
At Day 20 I am lucky to have most of my grafts on my eyebrows still on. The ones on the left eyebrow fell off a little more but I kept most of them. I am now gently washing my eyebrows with face wash and moisturizing them night and day. I also apply some eyebrow make up to fill in the sparse areas caused by the lost grafts.
My donor area scar feels tender. No big changes there. It does not hurt, swell or bleed still. My husband who checks the scar for me every three days does see some pink skin around the scar, scabs crusting off extremely slowly.
I already see some of the hair transplanted grow back, which is a good sign. I will be happy to update my testimonial in 10 months with some photos. Also I want to add that the follow up with patients, after the procedure is impeccable. Dan and Cindy make themselves available for their patients. This is something I truly appreciate. Overall my experience was great on all aspects. I highly recommend Doctor Epstein for this procedure.
