I’m at the airport currently! No way was I? going to carry my luggage alone. The surgeon gave a letter for the airport so I was able to be transported to my gate. I? definitely get tired very quickly but the pain isn’t bad. I? can’t wait to be able to sleep how I want lol!

Thank you SO much for sharing your experience. I️ am schedule with the same surgeon. Did your swelling even out, I’m curious how was the flight? I️ will be flying all the way back to the West Coast so I️ am worried!

I️ haven’t booked my flight just yet. I’m planning for April or June of this year. Do you recommend waiting before flying straight home?

If you are flying alone I would wait a week to fly back bc the weight of your suite case and what not. The airport was not very accommodating. I had someone come with me and we flew out 5 days later

Smart, I’ll plan at least a week out. I’m bringing someone to help as well. Overall are you happy with your results?

To Blifalt and Mandy68, Hope you don’t mind me chiming in. I also traveled for my surgery (BL/BA). In fact I travel all the time, so I just wanted to offer a couple tips for Blijalt.
1. Pack as light as possible; and if possible just bring a carry-on lugguge. You’d be surprised how much you can put in a carry-on suitcase. Statistically most people bring more clothes and they need when they travel. Not to mention you’re going to be spending most of your time in your hotel room; the hotel should also have washer/dryer. When I traveled for my surgery I only brought the basic essentials: prescription meds, toiletries, a couple changes of clothes and sleepware. I did not bring a blow dryer since the hotel had one.
Everything else that I needed post op (Aquaphor, stool softeners, snacks) I purchased locally once I arrived at the location. Just anything you need you could probably found in Miami. Traveling with carry-on luggage only will also spared you the hassle of standing in line to check in your luggage and having to wait 30 to 40 minutes on each end for the luggage to be unloaded from the plane.
2. On your return trip ask for “wheelchair service” the minute you arrive at the airport CURB. You don’t need a letter from your doctor for this all you need to do is ask for. Also if you’re checking in online they usually ask if you need wheelchair assistance. Say yes. Airport wheelchair service is free although it’s customary to tip. The person pushing you in the wheelchair should assist with your luggage (if they are picking you up at the curb) and take you all the way to the terminal. Not to mention it’s usually a lot of walking just to get to your terminal; and post surgically you just may not be up for a lot of walking. Hope this is helpful.

Hi!!! Looking great!!! The first week is the worst. It was hard for me. But, its worth it!! Take good care of your new girls!!! They take awhile to heal completely! Ask for help whenever possible for the first few weeks.Your body needs the time to adjust to whats going on, and to heal for the best possible results. Look forward to watching your journey!! Take care, and Happy Healing!!! :)

I know the feeling, you and I are 1 day apart in our journeys. What did you end up getting and how many CC's?

Congrats on your surgery! From what I can see it looks like you will have a beautiful result. As another member here asked I’m also curious to know what size implant you got. Any other details you have to share would be interesting to know. Wishing you a smooth healing… :-)

Hi ladies!! I️ got 415 cc. More like a 300 cc bc the extra skin the surgeon removed makes up that extra 115 cc if that makes sense?
