I can't believe it's been two weeks

I seriously can't believe it's ONLY been 2 weeks. It feels like it's been a month! It's crazy. They have never really felt totally foreign to me but now the girls are definitely mine. They've gotten so soft and continue to each day. I'm doing my massages and still wearing my bras even though the last two days I've been pretty much braless because I got a spray tan and then had to do it again because I wasn't dark enough so I've been hanging around braless so I don't smudge myself #vanity. I'm getting out town for the weekend and I'm so excited to see some friends and go out and boat etc. first time ill be in a swimsuit with the twins! I feel so much more confident about it too.
I've been teaching and it's been going pretty well. My students have been great knowing I've been limited in my movement. I worried a bit that I was moving my arms around too much but I think it's fine.
They've dropped a considerable amount. My left breast is definitely bigger than my right- it was that way prior to surgery- even though we did a bigger implant on the right. Maybe I still need to wait for my right breast tissue/ muscle to expand more or maybe my left breast is still slightly swollen. From front on you can't really tell but at an angle you can. It doesn't bother me that much. I was used to it befor surgey. Plus maybe it makes them look a little more natural since they're not overly perfect.
My steri strips are still on. They've peeled a bit sometimes but I've pressed them back on. They're supposed to stay for like 4ish weeks until they fall off. I'm dying to see my incisions and to start putting some scar cream on them and massaging them to break up the scar tissue. I've keloided in the past but my surgeon said the tissue around the nipple doesn't lend itself well to keloided so I should be okay. We'll see!
I'm in bed now so I don't feel like takkng pictures. I have to send my surgeons office pictures tomorrow for my two week update so ill just post them tomorrow when I send them off to Jennifer.
Happy healing everyone!

Bra found!
YogaboobsJuly 21, 2013
Got an underarmour bra! I went looking for a front zip one but I didn't see any.. I had to try on like four sizes before I got it right! I went straight for a 34 c- no way Jose, 34 d nopenope. Ended up 32DD!! Would have never in my wildest dreams thought I'd buy something that size hahah!! Weee!!
I love the bra. So much better than my surgical bra, keeps them right in place. It came with little pads in it which make me look a little ridiculous, but without them it's perfect. Ill post a pic of it later.
Thanks for all the suggestions ladies!!

You're looking great! SUCH a difference between your day1/2 pics & now @ day8!
You're absolutely right about using your core to get up. No arms needed. I don't even think girls need to work out their core all that much- just know how to engage them when needed! Glad you're healing well!

Glad you found a bra that works with your everyday clothing! I'll make a note of the bra for future reference.

Sports bra recommendations?
YogaboobsJuly 21, 2013
Hey ladies! Does anyone recommend any sports bras for post op support. I'm supposed to wear one 24/7 for 6 weeks. My surgical bra turns out to be the most comfortable but it's so giant and grandma like I can't wear any clothes with it! I tried a champion sports bra too but that kind of hurts then. Just looking for comfort and support for the twins! Let me know if anyone has found good one!

My Dr's assistant recommended me getting underarmour sports bra with open front zipper. I got two 32C and love them. They are high impact support, fit tightly but still pretty comfortable :)

I got the Bandinis by Hanes. They are soooo comfortable. I'm still wear them all the time when not wearing a bra. I love them. I have a few pics in them posted

Nike has a really soft and comfortable zip up sports bra that I love! And there are actually a lot of super comfy ones at Target too.
