Hi all! Can we just stop and take a second to say how amazing this website is!? After years of wanting a BA and months of prowling around on here - my time has finally come to share my experience now that I'm finalizing my surgery details!
To share a little but about me... I'm a 20 year old yoga instructor who's boobs never really came in. I'm 5'4, 115 and what I consider to be a 34A minus. Like most of us on here I want to achieve a natural 34C- on the mid/full side of the C spectrum. I definitely want to be a solid C and not a maybe C/maybe D.
I am living in Chicago but I am traveling to Miami for my procedure. I've chosen Dr. Hochstein for my BA procedure. His reputation as the "boob god" speaks for itself and his pages and pages of before and after pics made me feel super confident he can give me what I want! I've been working with his out of town patient coordinator, Jennifer, who is very sweet, helpful and excited for me. I had a phone consult with Dr. H and it lasted all of 5 minutes. I didn't have many questions because I've done so much research and I've practically stalked this Dr. and his reviews etc. He wasn't warm and fluffy. But he was polite and business-like which I know some people aren't comfortabl with in a plastic surgeon but I know he is world renowned surgeon who can give me exactly what I want. I don't need him to be there to hold my hand, that's what my mom and girlfriends are for! He just needs to give me great boobies.
I should finalize my surgery date tomorrow and pay my deposit! Jennifer said that it would probably July 11th. That might change if I'm unable to surgery one or two that day. It's really important to me that I'm número 1 or 2!
From my phone consult we've decided on silicone implants through the nipple. He threw out that he though 370cc would be a good starting point to start thinking about sizes, but that's just from looking at photos I've sent him. Sizing will obviously be finalized and chosen the at pre-op the day before my surgery. He also said he will have to lower my right crease to even me out a bit. And a bigger implant on the right will probably be needed as well. The whole lowering or the crease thing makes me a little more nervous because it just seems like that involves one more thing that could go wrong or cause complications. I'm trying to have faith in my doctor though and I keep telling myself hes done thousands of these things- he knows what's up!
I'm a little nervous about my recovery time being a yoga instructor an all. I don't necessarily have to move when I teach but Im very hands on so it'll be weird for me for a bit while I'm recovering. I'm also bummed that I wont be able to practice for like 6 weeks! Yoga keeps me sane, and it's crummy to think I'll lose some upper body strength from not working out. Oh well! It's totally worth it.
I'll be back with updates and some pre-op pictures. Thanks for listening girls!

So everything is set!!

All my ducks are in a row. Pre-op is scheduled for July 10th and then surgery is scheduled for the 11th! It is so unreal that this is actually happening- it doesn't feel real at allll!
Today my mother and I booked our flights down to Miami, and we'll take care of hotel arrangements tomorrow. I need to go to CVS for like a million things and I just added multivitamins (no excessive vitamin e!) and iron supplements to my list so I can get on those ASAP to make sure I'm in tip-top shape for surgery. Additionally, I'm trying to lose about 7-10 pounds before surgery, because I KNOW I will gain it right back while I'm sedentary during recovery. So I figure if I lose 10 pounds and then gain it back I'll end up right where I started and it will be like nothing ever happened except a new pair of boobs appeared!
I have a list of some things to do, like getting some zip-up hoodies etc. But there is nothing really left to do besides wait! The day or two before I leave I'll do all my laundry and clean up around the house so I come back to a clean, cozy, stress and maintenance free environment and can recover in peace.
I do have to say that I have been a little bit annoyed with my surgeon's office. Every time I have called NO ONE is ever there- and I mean I get it, hes a huge deal and is swamped- so I leave a voicemail and carry on with my day. I call and leave a message before noon and I wont hear back from anyone for days. I mean I probably wouldn't have even had my calls returned if I didn't call like every other day and basically harass them. And its not like I'm calling about annoyingly specific questions or questions I could find the answer to on his website, I was calling to find out why they hadn't charged me for my deposit when I faxed them everything over a week ago. So I was harassing THEM about taking MY money. Kind of funny. But I just wanted to make sure they had taken the deposit so they would keep my surgery scheduled. I know their busy but c'mon. And its not like I'm expecting special treatment because I'm coming in from out of town... but they have a woman who is their out of town patient coordinator and I waited for a call back from her (after leaving 2 voicemails and an email) for 5 days. Oh well! I know some people would hate that "i feel like just another number not a patient" whole deal but its not the end of the world for me. Its just annoying. Still confident with my choice though! It'll be great!
Pictures to come when I dont feel so bloated hahah!
Thanks ladies!

Things I'm most excited for after surgery!
YogaboobsJune 14, 2013
Ever since my surgery became a reality I have been having the weirdest boob dreams! Like every other night I have a dream about my new boobs, one where I was in the grocery store just walking around, the other I was trying to run through an obstacle course like right after surgery and was holding onto my boobs for dear life so they didnt bounce hhaha! I think I'm just sooooo excited its seeping over into my dream world.
But even while I'm awake I cant stop thinking about what Im looking forward to! The list....
-Being able to rock a little wife beater/ tank top for that effortlessly sexy girl next door look
-Having cleavage in v-necks
-Sexy lounging around with my boyfriend in lacey boy shorts, and a little zip up hoodie with cleavage and no bra (come on! you know what im talking about!)
-Bikinis!
-Strapless dresses
-Backless shirts/ dresses and not needed a bra! (probably just nip covers)
-Not having to wear real bras again! I live in sports bras, but they're not that cute... American Apparel mesh and lace bras are the best of both worlds, but they dont offer a ton of support- so they are perfect for the silicone twins!
-Filling out my yoga clothes! I'm tired of looking like a 12 year old boy in my lululemon stuff... I wonder what people at work/ my clients will say when i get my new boobs. They see me in spandex everyday so they all know im flat up top.. I'm taking a week off and then ill return with big boobs!? Cant really hide that haha, I told them I'm taking time off to get my wisdom teeth out... Soooo... we'll just have to see about that haha!
-Sexy time! I've always been shy about being topless during the deed... It's never really held me back, but who knows what it will unleash when I feel confident! TMI? nah,,, we're all pals here
I'm sureee I'll think of more!
