DO NOT GET ETCHING DONE TO YOUR STOMACH

WORTH IT$6,800
My stomach is majorly deformed. I DO NOT recommend etching!!! It sounded like a good idea at the time. It was supposed to make me look "toned." I was supposed to have a line going down the sides and the middle of my stomach but it looks really fake and gross. I should have done my research before agreeing to it. My stomach is a different color and there are lumps everywhere. I went on a cruise last week and all my friends were asking what was wrong with my stomach. I will probably see a revision plastic surgeon in a couple months. I am so upset. I'm deleting my other photos but I'll keep the ones of how my stomach looks up.

PLEASE DO NOT consider etching. It is a horrible decision

Dr. Salama and his staff were the best anyone could ask for! They were easily reachable and followed up with me after my surgery. I saw him 3 times after I got my surgery in a span of 2 weeks. He is a perfectionist! He also threw in abdominal "etching" for free, which usually costs an extra $1000. I highly recommend going to them. I LOVE my new body. Thank you Dr. Salama!!! :)

Basically the doctor removes more fat than usual to create irregularities and lumps under the skin to make it appear like I have more muscle definition. It sounded like a great idea and I thought he did this regularly but I'm one of the few patients who had it done. If I did my research ahead of time, I would have known most outcomes look fake and uneven with contour irregularities. I'm so embarrassed of my stomach right now. I can't wait to see a revision specialist.
So sorry doll.. I can imagine I'm embarrassed of my stomach just from this lumpiness from the lipo! Look into cavitation treatments
Hi Im sorry to hear that:( Salama is really good with booty but he is a begginer in ab etching :s I did my bbl with salama and I am happy about my butt but my stomach have bumps and it looks difform and I didnt do ab etching.. i am goiing to colombia to fix my stomach and more hips and fill some dimples on my butt. You should look at colombian doctors if you want to fix your stomach.. Good luck xx
Yah, I thought everyone did etching. I didn't know he was fairly new at it or the risks involved. I'll probably end up going to LA to see a revision specialist.
I'm sorry this happened to you. He offered this to me as well but I declined because I knew he was new at it. Have you sent dr Salama and what has there response been? Hopefully it can be fixed and if so it should be free
Damn! I'm so afraid of messing up my stomach with bbl. It scares the [RS bleep] outta me. I hope with time your pigment goes back to normal and it helps make things look smoother. Your overall shape has changed for the better but u shouldn't have to sacrifice your stomach in the process. Your one of the girls on here who has a similar body type to me and I feel bad bc u looked good before surgury and wanted to perfect yourself as do I! I wish u all the luck and hope some time and healing help!
Go to a good doctor and get your massages the next day don't wait.
Alot of drs don't recommend massage til after a couple weeks. Do u think u should start immediately to avoid lumps? I've noticed so many different post op instructions and different drs say different things.

I don't mean to make my posts sound discouraging. Dr. Salam is an amazing surgeon and I am overall happy with my results. My body isn't perfect but it looks a lot better now than before. I would definitely do it again.
