7 days post-op
As of today I am 7 days post op. The flight home was terrible. I was told to get up and walk around every 15mins which seems excessive so I told myself I would do that every 30mins instead HOWEVER, THAT DID NOT HAPPEN..... the plane was small which consisted of 3 rolls of seats and a small aisle. The flight was about 2hrs and 30mins long, I got up once. The seat was small considering I had fat grafted to my hips- the arm rests also caused bruises on my new hips. I may have lost a small amount of fat due to me not getting up so much but i did flex my feet and legs while sitting on a pillow to minimize any loss. Today I switched over to a 2x faja which has more compression in the midsection. Images gave me a 3X which fit around my butt perfectly but not so much in the back and stomach section. This wasn't a big issue because I knew I would purchase a smaller faja, I was just glad that it wasn't too small and did not squeeze my butt lol.
I havent been on so I need to back track a little.... my surgery was on 3/29 @ 10am, my follow-up was the next day on 3/30. After my follow-up I went back to the recovery hoise, Curvy Angels and had my first massage by Marilyn. The first massage was a piece of cake. I wold rate the pain about a 4 out of 10- 10 being the worse, she told me in advance when it would hurt and to breathe. I also got a massage on 3/31 which was post op day 2.
As I stated before I haven't been in pain at all. The only time I took pain meds is before the massages. Other than that I didn't need them.

I am soo I ln love with my new body
So I was scheduled for surgery yesterday @ 10am, didn't go back until 10:40 and I was under by 11. I also met Dr. Alvarez and that man is fine as hell in person! The surgery was only a couple hours long, I was up by 1:30 and picked up by Ms. Kim from Curvy Angels. I would rate my pain as a 4, with 10 being the worse. My butt is a little numb but I have no pain in my midsection what so ever. I was a little nauseous yesterday and this morning but was able to stop by the store for some gingerale since the pills provided didn't help. I paid $3 for med after using my insurance... I can't think of what they're called but I'll try to update you all later
Today is the day!
My surgery is scheduled for 10am with Alvarez @ Imagenes. So far everything has been so smooth with them which suprised me seeing I switched over to them from Eres last week. I seen a few girls yesterday who had surgery and they looked very comfortable for it to br their 1st day post op. Right now I am relaxing with my cartoons until it's time for me to go in. I was told I should get there 10mins before 10am which isn't too bad since I'm not a morning person. Im also praying for a successful surgery for both the surgeon and myself- lord please watch over us and return me to my family safety
