Dr. Salama was amazing! When I got to Pre Op, we laughed so hard at my jokes lol!! My daughter was there (she’s 18) and when he told me my butt was square, she passed out laughing in the chair. I said “thanks Dr. Salama for reminding me I looked like Spongebob Squarepants!” We laughed so hard!! Surgery day was a wait, but worth it. There wasn’t a rush, though I wanted to get it over with. Dr. Salama took his time to talk to me, answer my last minute questions and get some pics. I had to go to the hospital because my heart rate went up (my body’s reaction to my BBL surgery, nothing on his part). The staff wanted to make sure I didn’t have any blood clots (I’m 38, so I’m at a higher risk for them). No blood clots! Anyway, Dr. Salama called and text my daughter (she was my caretaker) every day, 2-3 times per day to check on me and he visited me (I stayed 2.5 days). I honestly didn’t expect him to come because his office is very busy, but he stopped by and stayed for a few minutes. After discharge, I went for my massage and his staff was so nice! Even before the surgery, everyone was pleasant to me. I can call to ask questions now and will get a response instantly or a call back in a timely manner. I will say, BE PATIENT! I’ve seen reviews from people wanting to be in and out in no time. The office has many patients and you want Dr. Salama to spend quality time with you, just as other patients want the same quality time. I didn’t experience any infections or anything bad from my surgery. I didn’t take my pain pills until day 4 (might be why I had a fast heart rate...???) I just toughed it out. I’m definitely coming back next year for more lipo around my arms abs upper back and maybe get my breasts plumped up. Dr. Salama is my Doc!
