Hello All - I am at the very beginning of planning for this procedure. Dr. Salama in Miami is my doctor of choice; i've had two friends go to him (one went twice for two different procedures, one being the BBL). I'm told that the Recovery House is a really good option if planning on traveling alone. Does anyone have any thoughts or experience? Thanks!!

Amazing !!!! I deff recommend it ! I am a baby when it comes to everything and they took care of me like a baby ! I made friend for life over there !!!
Thanks for the response! I read your journey and am thankful that you have been willing to share. So, since you stayed there, did you still need to have all of the things people have recommended (i.e. urine funnel; yoga mat; etc.)? Did you have no one with you on the days of your surgeries (did you end up having the chin lipo?)?
Just bring some supplies like neosporin and gaze , and personal stuff ...they did give me a a cup for urinating since I forgot urinal .. Lol, but there is lady there that will be with you and feed you in bed and shower you... Also being with other girls who are undergoing surgery makes it so much easier ! Stay positive and meet friends and you will have an amazing experience . I had so much fun I met friends for life and first 2-3 days are hard ! Just eat a lot drink every 2 hours a lot , and walk ! You will be better day 5 . Day 6 I was on a beach walking and experiencing miami ...good luck

Thank you so much for the information! One last question, did the Recovery House and/or Dr.'s office tell you what to bring? I've seen people on this site post various lists but was curious about the guidance from the doctor. Thanks for everything!!
You will get a package in a mail from doctors office ! Read it carefully . They say what to bring but also get a list from someone here . I packed up a lot but only used - gaze , neosporin , antibacterial wash , t shirts, maxi dresses ! This is a must ! Trust me you will be ok . Grace at recovery house makes the best chicken and breakfast . Once I was back home I missed her a lot becouse now I have to cook for my family no more spoiling me by them ... Hehe .. Also justin driver is great , they text you and remind you off all appointments ! Salama gives you his cell number and he answers right away !!!
Hi 11116! Thank you for this information. I was unsure what to do. Where to stay? If paying that much for the RH was worth it or can I go else where and save money. I want to feel safe, taken care of, and comfortable. Nancy makes me feel good about the RH but it's always good to hear it from the ones that have experienced it. Plus, this is all new to us. Thank you for being a friend and giving us this important information.
Do you have the info for the Recovery House? I am going with a diff Dr, but wanted to see if I could use this RH. Thanks!
Hi I am not a person to post but the week i stayed at the recovery home was not a delight as she is saying! Maybe after the complaints they fixed up the issue but it was not a very good RH for us! Grace was the care taker and did not help out at all... I wanted to write a review about it but when i did email dr salamas staff about the unpleasant things tht happened in the Rh never got a reply! after all that money spent you wld think it would be amazing service! sorry for the negative comment but its true
