7 weeks post

I am loving my results more everyday!!! My waist is slowly shrinking and I started to work out again at 6 weeks. Things are pretty normal now. My period was 3 weeks late. I’m just glad it came. I believe it was the stress of the surgery on the body. I need to learn to take better pictures bc my booty looks so much bigger in person! Well thats all for now!!

Pictures as I promised

Here are some pictures so you can see. I am feeling so much better. I am working and life is back to normal. This Wednesday will be my 4 week mark and I am planning to work out again. I'm gonna start slow. I am still wearing my faja. I am only wearing my foams and back board to sleep. I still don't sit on my butt or lay on my back. I am very happy with my results. I can't wait to be normal again. I do give myself two massages a day. I use the hand rolling one. It helps to break down any lumps. I will update y'all when I'm 2 months! Bye for now!!

I made it to the other side!!

So due to hurricane Irma I had to push my sx back a week. I was able to move my flight with united but spirit did not allow me to switch my flights. I had to buy another flight home. I will never travel Spirit airlines again! So my new sx date is 9/20.

I flew out a day early for my pre op. I was a little disappointed that I didn't get to meet Dr Alverez. I stayed at Assistance4life. They are great!! I had to pick up some Spanish staying there bc the cook doesn't speak any English. The caregiver was great. She was a little overwhelmed with all the girls that was there. But she managed us.

Sx day was crazy. It happen so quick. So I got there and I was brought back. I got to see Dr. Alverez for 2 minutes as he marked me up. I walked into the OR and lights out! I woke up on my back and groggy. The pain wasn't bad. I was super sore. She helped me up and I was just leaking everywhere. It was really gross. So she stuff me full of pads and sent me on my merry way.

As soon as I got to the recovery house my meds and bed was ready for me. I had my crackers and ginger ale waiting for me. I ate a cracker and took my Percocet and went to bed. I woke up feeling nauseous. I knew it had to be the perc so I took zofran. The doc prescribed everything that I needed. I went back to sleep. When I woke up I got up and walked around. I ate some soup and went back to bed. Sleeping sucked. I don't sleep on my stomach so I had hard time getting comfortable. I suggest having heavy flow maxi pads to put for the drainage. The drainage is crazy!!!! Luckily the recovery house provided the bed covers and pads. Be prepared to be wet from drainage all day. It's gross. Our not allowed to take off the garment till the next day. You will urinate a lot also. So be prepared. They taught me to sit backwards on the toilet and it works. I also bought a pez and that worked too.

So my next few days consist of eating, sleeping, walking and massages. I even doubled up on one day. So I got 4 massages before I flew home. They drained me and it felt so much better after. Please take you pain meds before getting them. They hurt. I'm giving you a heads up. Dr Alverez does all his post op on Friday. So be prepared to be there for a while. It's a mad house there.

Well I am now 9 days post op. I got to fly home sooner and United was able to accommodate me with no fees due to hurricane Irma. I flew home Saturday. It was rough but I made it home. It's getting better each day. The drainage stopped thank god. It stopped on day 5.

Well that is all for now!! I will post up my before and after pictures soon. Good night dolls!!!
